Trope Cleanup: Shotoclone

Shotoclone Wick Check

This was originally going to be a TRS project, but a mod suggested using this space instead;

Shotoclone is a very established archetype in fighting games and I think it's definitely tropeworthy. When browsing the main page though, I feel like there's a lot of examples that really stretch or tip toe around the definition in the description; lots of characters listed that are missing moves/don't have the moves elaborated on, and others that ignore the Jack of All Stats angle or ease of learning the character. There's also a huge amount of ZCE, no alphabetization (not what the thread's for, I know), and some examples that aren't even from video games.

You can take a look at the wick check at the top of this post; there's a large amount of entries for this trope that are missing context.

Goals I had in mind:

• Expanding the wick check to find other examples that need fixing.
• Adding context and details to underdeveloped entries for the trope
• Expand on the trope's main page to better clarify qualifiers or give some wiggle room for playing with the trope

Basic Example requirements

• Lists all of the staple shoto moves: a projectile, uppercut, and some kind of forward attack like a Hurricane Kick.
• Some very base-level summary of their playstyle: are they a basic all-rounder? Do they have some other flavor to their moveset? (maybe they favor a certain fighting distance or have a tool that gives them their own niche from other shotos)

The main page itself could use a thorough cleanup; there's a lot of ZCE on there too, plus no proper alphabetization.

Does Shotoclone require Forward+Down+Down-Forward joystick motions (or at least something like them)? I don't think so, I just want to make sure.

Not really, no fighting game is gonna have the same input scheme.
