Regarding One Night Stand 2006, I don't think that entry as-written counts. The immense hostility of the ECW crowd to WWE's wrestlers is perhaps the most famous thing about it, but it's very clear just from watching it that this reaction is intentional. In Cena vs RVD, Cena plays the heel, doesn't try to play for the crowd in his intro, doesn't let go for rope breaks
, and - you know - Cena lost and everybody was happy. The only "controversy" is 'WWE doesn't understand what the crowd wants' except anybody with eyes and ears can tell that's not even close to applicable for this event. I think the OBC entry should just be cut.
Okay, we should cut it. And as for the user's other three edits? (the one on the Ruined FOREVER page and the ones on the Wrestling Doesn't Pay page)

Okay then.
Bringing up these examples from two different pages. It's the same editor who added them, and he seems to being using notes as a way of sneaking in bashing, snark, needless jokes and complaining.
Here's the first one from the Ruined FOREVER page for wrestling:
- Hulk Hogan joining TNA has caused many smarks to proclaim the inevitable doom of the company. The fact that he and Eric Bischoff are working for the same company has only made the doomsayers even more frantic, and add to that the announcement of a 2 hour special on Monday night, and removal (then quick reinstatement) of 4-sided rings instead of the TNA's usual 6, not only do you have fans of the company crying doom, you also have WWE fans saying this proves the end is near. Of course, the ratings freefall isn't exactly making an argument against thisnote .
Here's the other ones from Wrestling Doesn't Pay, the first one also sneaks in some rather needless swearing:
- The Goon, a wrestler-slash-hockey player. Came to the ring in hockey gear, and when the bell rang, he'd throw off his gloves and attack his opponent!note
- Jeff Jarrettnote , in his early days in WWF, was a wrestling country singer who planned to use wrestling as a stepping stone to break into Nashville. His guitar still featured prominently for most of the rest of his career, usually by way of cracking it over the head of his opponents.
I think the notes could be cut altogether and the user should probably have a notifier sent to them about how this practice is not okay.
I also noted this entry from the Royal Rumble page, in which he confines useful info to a note.
- As part of a cross-promotional deal, four luchadors from Mexican wrestling association Lucha Libre AAA World Wide take part in the Rumble: Mil Mascaras, Pierroth, Latin Lover, and Cibernético.note
I think his notes should be cut and have the salvageable info added to the main entry, and he should be given a notifier and redirected to this thread. What should I do with this and the edits I mentioned in the entry above?
Un-note the useful information, rephrase the items with a complaining tone? You are on Ruined FOREVER, a page dedicated to complaining.
Okay. Since the user was adding otherwise useless notes repeatedly, I suggest sending the user a notifier and redirecting him to this thread.

The user also re-wrote the Royal Rumble page's introductory paragraph, I un-noted and re-phrased the info he added.
Royal Rumble is WWE's annual January pay-per-view event; it started as a television special for the USA Network in 1988note and has been a PPV since 1989.

Older Hero Versus Younger Villain DESPERATELY needs a cleanup. The way that trope is explained, to parlay it to pro wrestling, there should be a significant age/experience/career length difference between the two sides of a feud and this should be a plot point within the feud itself. Instead what we're seeing is every slightly notable feud where the heel is a year, two years, maybe even three months younger than the face is being listed under that trope in wrestlers' pages, despite the difference more often than not playing no part in the angle whatsoever.
Yeah almost everything there is a Zero Context Example. These are the ones I think can stay:
- This is basically the main premise of Randy Orton's gimmick during his "Legend Killer" days as he challenged older, veteran Faces...
- The aged but locally popular challenger Jerry Lynn vs the younger, cocky foreign champion Nigel McGuinness in Ring of Honor...though the fans seemed to be cheering for Lynn out of sympathy, as they started to turn on him when he actually won the belt from McGuinness.
- Yoshihiro Tajiri vs a good deal of the roster in his SMASH promotion but The Triple Tails specifically targeted him for his age. However, their first targets were Yusuke Kodama and Makoto, who were both younger than at least one Triple Tail, Kana. Kana changed their targets to "the old men" after Tajiri came to their rescue.
- On March 12th 2012, Cherry had a match at Union Pro Wrestling against her long standing rival, Mio Shirai, with the stipulation being that if Cherry lost, her real age would become public knowledge. It was subverted afterwards when Cherry won but the passport that was being used as her proof of age was stolen by GAMI, who was eventually revealed to be older than Cherry.
- Played with in SHINE, where "The Dinosaur Hunter" Leah Von Dutch was older than two of her targets, not that she realized it. Then averted when she put out an open challenge to the "Shinosaurs", which was answered by Sweet Saraya.
- CM Punk's feud with MJF made full use of this trope. As a young wrestling fan, MJF considered Punk his role model, only to become disillusioned with him as he grew older. Much of the feud consisted of MJF hurling abuse, both physical and verbal, at the much older Punk and generally mocking him over his alleged loss of ability.
- As of Clash at the Castle 2022, post-Face–Heel Turn Dominik Mysterio becomes the villainous son to Rey's heroic father.
Everything else either isn't an example, has zero context, or both.

I don't see anything wrong with it (knowing neither the video nor the wrestler, can't tell if it's the sort of thing he'd say), but a caption isn't strictly necessary for an image.
I'd go with suggestions for a better caption, or the removal of the caption altogether.

The caption does have the same type of insanity as an average Ultimate Warrior promo, but I'd change it.
My suggestion is "A man that breathes the air that smells of combat." It's concise and still keeps a reference to his promos.

I've got a bunch of a user's repeated usages of notes to sneak in complaining and hide otherwise useful info.
Here's this one from the Germans Love David Hasselhoff page for pro wrestling:
- This was responsible for (briefly) resurrecting Hulk Hogan's career as a face in WWE. When they set up the match between Hogan and The Rock in shows being filmed in the US, Hogan was clearly playing the heel (coming off his stint in WCW) and Rock the face. The actual match was at WrestleMania X8 in Toronto, where Hogan was so over with the crowd, mostly due to nostalgic reasonsnote , that the announcers were clearly stunned by the crowd's reaction in treating Hogan as the face and the Rock as, at best, the Worthy Opponent.
- Speaking of Undertaker and Saudi Arabia, everyone involved hated the Undertaker and Kane vs. Triple H and Shawn Michaels match the moment it ended. This was supposed to be Michaels' comeback matchnote , he instead immediately went back into retirement and said he will never be returning to the ring.
- Jeff Jarrett, who, being a Christian, claimed his Austin 3:16 slogan was a Blasphemous Boast on a Raw promo following Jarrett's return in 1997, something Austin feared could tank his merchandise sales (For the record, Austin isn't religious but has gone on record saying that he never meant it to be taken as blasphemous). There was also said to be heat dating back to when Stone Cold had wrestled for Jeff's father Jerry who was known to pay his wrestlers peanuts and on one occasion when Austin had looked in shock at his low pay, Jeff was said to have remarked "It's not going to get any bigger by you staring at it". This is said to have majorly angered Austin at its insensitive nature.note
Also found another one from the same user, this time on the pro wrestling page for Unperson:
- When D-Generation X was announced to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, the names specified were Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Chyna, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn and X-Pac. Notably missing from the list? Rick Rude and Tori. Both wrestlers had left the WWE on acrimonious terms (though for different reasons; Rude left for WCW in solidarity with Bret Hart after the Montreal Screwjob and proceeded to cut an infamous shoot promo blasting the WWF on his Nitro debutnote , while Tori was fired for refusing to go back into training) and weren't around in the stable long enough to make a lasting impact. That being said, Rude was inducted in the Hall of Fame two years prior, albeit as a standalone wrestler.
