I watched this show, and it's a lot better than it looks. For starters, it's not just a "hijinks ensue" show; while I don't want to judge from the first two episodes alone, it seems like there's a story arc, and it's trying to balance its comedy with action and drama, which for the most part it manages very well. This is the kind of show that Golan the Insatiable was trying to be.

Danny Devito's live-tweeting of the show makes it look like he's becoming unhinged out of context. I might check it out solely for him.

An ad for it came up while I was looking for the new Rick and Morty and the art style spoke to me. Everything in due time I suppose.
Some times cult hits are fine. If a project gets too widespread suddenly an entire culture/generation of people want to evaluate and make Youtube videos about what's wrong with it. I think this show might be a little much for a mainstream audience anyway. Legit saw a wave of Youtube comments complaining about how the show was anti-Christian. And, I mean, its a show about a largely amoral little girl who is the antichrist and loving every minute of it.
Even I was surprised by the amount of nudity and gore. Rick and Morty and Beavis and Butthead don't go as hard as this does.
I never knew Danny Devito's daughter went into acting. Further more that they acted in the same projects.

That strikes me as HEAVILY unlikely. The edgiest thing you’d get on Disney+ is The Simpsons.

Going to post that this show was eventually added to Disney plus but is notably one of the only animated shows to removed from disney's streaming service
