It depends on what kind of new fans the work ends up attracting. On one hand, it can be great to see something you love get more attention. On the other hand, larger fanbases are more likely to contain toxic fans and negativity.
Tbh I never really hated his minigames in the original, but they did make them better in the remake.

It totally depends. I like a lot of niche works and if they were more mainstream it might be kind of cool, but I've also seen how toxic mainstream audiences are. With the ARG stuff it's worse because of the risk of gamejacking, copycats, and more. OTOH, it's awesome when talented creators get the exposure they deserve.
So it really depends on the work itself and what sort of people it attracts.

It depends on the work in question and who it attracts.
Beast Yeast episode 12 was peak. Everyone in that episode was great. Especially White Lily.

So,let's say you have a work you really enjoy,it's had a small fanbase for years,it's nowhere near popular enough to be considered 'mainstream' ergo, its not highly visable so you really have to look for other fans.
To cut a long story short, the topic, mainstream recognition ,yay or nay?
