Majima may be intrigued by her, but it seems to be mostly that he's lonely, wants a friend, and doesn't really know how to express it outside his Alan Foundation programming. He'd probably be up for a few rounds of paintball and an evening watching Eighties action movies, if asked.
If the DA wanted Chisato to care about his vendetta against their organisation, they probably shouldn't have sent quite so many death-squads after her over the years.

What's precedent ever done for us?That was pretty good! Like usual, I feel like the very final episode would benefit from being watched immediately after the penultimate one, but it was very solid.
Also, I think most of my predictions were busted, including that Majima's hearing would have anything to do with Yoshimatsu's heart. I really wanted a kiss, too, but now that they're in Hawaii they can get married.
It's been fun.I'm really not sure at this moment exactly how that went down. I think for sure that Mika shot Shinji, but he didn't then show up carrying Shinji's body. Was the heart inside the case after all? Would he have brought it along without checking it? And if it was just a decoy, or just had the box with the pendant in it, would he have brought the whole thing to the operating room?
Either way, I guess that Chisato must know what happened by this point.
It's been fun.Something a Twitter user (@vip_wiz) pointed out
that may or may not be accurate - apparently they think the bracelets Takina and Chisato are wearing at the end in Hawaii may be maile bracelets, which the text included in the tweet (unsourced) are used for wedding jewelry or just to symbolize devotion to a partner. I don't know if I buy it 100% - there ARE bracelets with a more layered-leaf look than the one in the tweet - but it's a cute visual and I choose to believe!
Yeah. The text shown in the tweet comes from Kotobuki-Shokai
, but is also unsourced there. I do have an uncle living in Hawai'i I could ask about it, at the least.
So....
Majima Everywhere system fopr the next season?
Have Majima become Chisato's Sitcom Arch-Nemesis that tries to ambush from anywhere, even if the next season is a Slice of Life?

Watch SymphogearAlso, coming up, we have:
- A new manga spinoff about "Takina and Chisato's daily lives"; hard to tell if this will adapt the Ordinary Days light novel or new stories.
- An official anthology manga; these tend to be mostly gags and short stories that fall under the category of "official fan stories." They don't necessarily contradict canon, but maybe we'll get one from the original authors too if we're lucky.
- A special event
of some sort being held on February 11. No details confirmed except that Chisato, Takina, Mizuki, and Kurumi's voice actresses will be there, among possible others.

It's been fun.Yes! The slice-of-life spinoff I wanted is a reality!
Anyway, my reading of the confrontation between Mika and Yoshi was that Yoshi was bluffing about having the artificial heart in his chest. It was always in the briefcase. He prepared it as a reward for Chisato’s first (?) kill. Probably had an OR set up too. It makes sense that way, too. Less risk of a stray bullet damaging the heart.
Seriously, Alan Institute, learn to adapt. Chisato could have become the world’s greatest ping pong player if she didn’t want to kill. Sheeeesh.

Majima lived because the DA didn't present a narrative case that they deserved to beat him, and because Chisato and Takina didn't have a solid motivation to fix their mess for them.
