The title is a little non-indicative (should've leaned more into the gameplay gimmick), but this game looks legitimately great.

This and Rift of the NecroDancer are just taunting me with their "2024" release dates at this point.
I think the only way this game is getting a physical release is through Limited Run Games, which so far hasn't announced anything.

... I'm deciding between downloading for my switch or steam. I will look to see what the launch reviews are, but going by previews I am pretty sure it's going to be good in general!

Downloaded this on the Switch. Up to chapter 3 so far. Really loving it, but it's technical limitations for the system are showing. Nothing gamebreaking just some minor slowdown or text not completing. But the gameplay still functions fine.

James Turner, known for his art work for Pokémon, has departed GameFreak to develop his own game. He brings his super-cute art style to an action-adventure in The Plucky Squire, popping straight out (and back into) a storybook.
