“Unless it can angle the side armor, the side, rear and top will always be the most vulnerable parts of any tank.”
“I mean, modern battle tanks try to reinforce the side with composite and reactive armor, but the rear and top are still very vulnerable to any opposing shots.”
Yo buddies, still tropin’?"Ah, I see. So just fire an anti-tank round from an airplane and..." Icarus makes an exploding gesture with his hands.
I've made some posts on the main thread related to the Gems and their new algae farm, if you wanna take a look. Also, it's almost 1AM for me, so this may be the last post I write for today
If it disagrees with experiment, it's wrong.
“Okay then, if there’s nothing else, let’s move on.”
Morgan and Icarus enter the final garage where another large, angular tank is seen, but has its engine bay open and under repair.
“Finally here’s a modern main battle tank. The M1 Abrams I have here sports a 120mm smoothbore gun, capable of firing high-velocity APFSDS. As for protection, it has various composite armors on the front and sides to increase protection from other high-velocity rounds and chemical HEAT penetrators.”
“Funny you mentioned about strapping jets on the Churchill earlier, because the M1 uses gas turbines for propulsion, making move fast in spite of the weight brought on by the armor. Unfortunately, at least for me, I find the maintenance a bit of a nightmare, as you see here.”
Yo buddies, still tropin’?
“Well, it’s less like missions and more like contracts or jobs I am paid to do. Such jobs range from a basic patrol over a particular location to…eliminating specific targets.”
“As for the thruster, are you talking about the F-14D’s engines?”

“Well, um, thanks. Let’s head back to the hangar, shall we?”

“Well the F-14D’s in the hangar, so we can fix its engine there, unless you referring to the M1’s engine here.”
Was Icarus trying to fix the M1’s engine? Or the F-14D’s engine, which is in the hangar they started at?

The M1 is Morgan’s MBT, the F-14D is his fighter, for clarification’s sake…
Both he and Icarus arrived back at the hangar, where the F-14D was resting there.
Morgan then gestured at the fighter.
“Here it is, feel free to check it out…”

Yo buddies, still tropin’?"Don't mind if I do."
Icarus kneels down in front of the engine and swaps his right humanoid arm out for an arm lined with tools. Due to a lack of stabilization, he sometimes has to balance himself out with his left hand while performing rapid motions with the right. After a while, he steps away again, even though the repair is still unfinished. A small pile of broken parts lines the site.
"Outta material, unfortunately. I think I managed to replace the most hard-to-access parts though, the rest of the job should be rather easy for you." Icarus swaps his right arm back to a humanoid one. "You're welcome."

Icarus would have a comment to drop in the second garage. "Do you use sulfuric acid to clean?"
