A recurring question: When is it long enough to split off a subpage?
While answers varynote , we can usually tell when a subpage is not long enough. Bring any candidates here and we can discuss whether or not they were properly split off and agree on whether or not to merge them back.
Here's one to start off discussion: Pun-Based Title.Webcomics. Merge back to Pun-Based Title?
Something I noticed is that most of the subpages named under Puppet Shows are really short having like 10 examples max, one of which has one example (which does also include Running Gag). Do they just get merged back into Live-Action TV, or are they supposed to stay separate?

"I created a legacy so resilient that now you come before me."Is CreatorBreakdown.Art too short? It only has 5 separate examples and it's only under 3k characters.
Join the Object Show Cleanup Thread! (they/them)I propose to merge BigNo.Puppet Shows, BLAM.Puppet Shows, CrazyPrepared.Puppet Shows, GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff.Puppet Shows, LampshadeHanging.Puppet Shows, NoCelebritiesWereHarmed.Puppet Shows, NoExportForYou.Puppet Shows, RunningGag.Puppet Shows, SubvertedKidsShow.Puppet Shows, SubvertedRhymeEveryOccasion.Puppet Shows and TheOtherDarrin.Puppet Shows to their respectives pages and subpages.
That is what I had in mind yeah, but the thing we need to know first is if we are supposed to put the entire on Live-Action TV or a separate Puppet Shows folder?

"I created a legacy so resilient that now you come before me."There are, or at least have been, a number of tropes where works whose pages are in the Series/ namespace get filed under a Puppet Shows folder, and I wonder if trying to merge them might draw complaints from people who think they should be treated as a separate medium. (Thunderbirds' page is under Series/ even though it feels more like an animated show.)
The subpages of Cycle of Revenge range from reasonably meaty to very short. I'm not sure exactly where I would draw the line — thoughts? The main page is about 34,000 bytes long.
- CycleOfRevenge.Video Games — 40,190
- CycleOfRevenge.Anime And Manga — 30,976
- CycleOfRevenge.Literature — 29,083
- CycleOfRevenge.Live Action Films — 21,526
- CycleOfRevenge.Real Life — 19,347
- CycleOfRevenge.Live Action TV — 14,865
- CycleOfRevenge.Western Animation — 13,223
- CycleOfRevenge.Comic Books — 11,879
- CycleOfRevenge.Fan Works — 8,817
(Also I'm not sure how much I love the Real Life page — it seems dangerously close to flame bait.)

Branching off from this query
.
DumbBlonde.Western Animation was recently and unilaterally split off from Dumb Blonde due to the troper who split it believing there were enough examples in the namespace to warrant a separate page. Should it be merged back, or should it stay split?
Wuewuewuewuewueing my way to the bank.
Carrying over from the query:
There appears to be many more Western Animation examples listed for Dumb Blonde than the other namespaces in the trope's examples (about 40 examples compared to the average of 5-15 examples), but at the same time it isn't that data-heavy (for comparison (it has over 16K characters, compared to the main page's 111K).
Still, the trope's pretty common in Western Animation compared to other mediums, and its length outside of the data issue makes me lean to keeping it (especially if some of the entries have their context expanded, since there are some that just say "X is dumb" and that's it).

Waiting to have my head disfigured and mounted on a wall.I dunno. It's a 17k subpage for a main page that's still comfortably below splitting length, it's got a significant issue with zero- and insufficient-context examples, and after a dig through Dumb Blonde's wicks I'm not seeing a lot of immediate potential for crosswicking — most examples were either ZCE, already added, or both.
Even absent the context issues, it's a shortish subpage without many signs of immediate growth. DB's popular as a trope in the abstract, sure, but that doesn't help the lack of material on the page right here and right now.
