A recurring question: When is it long enough to split off a subpage?
While answers varynote , we can usually tell when a subpage is not long enough. Bring any candidates here and we can discuss whether or not they were properly split off and agree on whether or not to merge them back.
Here's one to start off discussion: Pun-Based Title.Webcomics. Merge back to Pun-Based Title?
Uuhhhhhhhhhh... The Germans Love David Hasselhoff page for Voltes V was remerged into YMMV but no one readded the examples to the anime page for that trope.
As long as this flower is in my heart. My Strength will flow without end.CurbStompBattle.Party Crashers seems too short to me, but I want to hear other people's thoughts before merging the examples back to WebVideo.Party Crashers.
The Ass Shove pages are all around 7,000 long — definitely merge back.
I'd re-merge CurbStompBattle.Party Crashers, also.
Unrelatedly, looking at Animal Motifs, I have concerns about AnimalMotifs.Comic Books (9,828), AnimalMotifs.Game Of Thrones (8,154), AnimalMotifs.Music (5,603), AnimalMotifs.Mythology (8,656), and AnimalMotifs.Tabletop Games (6,993).
Also I'd just move back AnimalMotifs.Other Media in general, since we're at it.

I agree on all of the Animal Motifs ones, but for the Game of Thrones page, the work subpage it'd go on (GameOfThrones.Tropes A) is already pretty long, so you'd need to make sure it won't trigger the page too long warning. I don't think it would, but it might.
Can we merge back Moe.Battle For Dream Island to the show's YMMV page and the main Moe page?
Good morning, and good night, I hardly ever sleep. With what I have, what else do you think I'd ever need? Can someone please help me out with with the anime and manga section of the Germans Love David Hasselhoff trope. I brought back the examples removed when Voltes V lots its separate page but I am not getting the hang of it at all...
As long as this flower is in my heart. My Strength will flow without end.Merged back it's still about a hundred thousand bytes short of the 230-250k limit. Even then, the page is already split in half by folders, so that would be a simpler way to break it up if needed.
...And That Little Girl Was Me all have short subpages.
InternalReveal.Anime And Manga is also short as well.
Your receipt. You can keep the freakin' change.- Anime And Manga: 9,685 characters
- Comic Books: 7,600 characters
- Fan Works: 8,889 characters
- Films — Animation: 5,211 characters
- Films — Live-Action: 10,392 characters
- Literature: 15,169 characters
- Live-Action TV: 23,971 characters
- Western Animation": 11,125 characters
Moe.hololive is also pretty short. Merge?
Good morning, and good night, I hardly ever sleep. With what I have, what else do you think I'd ever need?Should we merge the Xenoblade awesome music pages into one page?
- Xenoblade Chronicles 1 (10931 characters)
- Xenoblade Chronicles X (8541 characters)
- Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (8168 characters)
- Torna - the Golden Country (1160 characters)
- Xenoblade Chronicles 3 (9713 characters)
- Future Redeemed (2606 characters)
We could keep Xenoblade X as its own page, especially with Definitive Edition coming out, due to its differences in style with the Trilogy. But should the Xenoblade trilogy’s pages be merged?
Merging the pages besides Chronicles X seems fair.
Is LateArrivalSpoiler.Animated Films too short to have worth being split off?
Do not mess with creatures which you do not understand. How many fan work pages a subpage should have it ? Example: FanWorks. All Of Us Are Dead has 10 fanfics, is it enought to justify its own subpage.
Technically, only needs one. Per Namespace, Fanworks/ is "Indexed subpages that hold an index for the fan works of a given work." Where else would you list them? They don't belong on the Work page.
They can't have just 1, that's a stub. If there isn't enough they go on the main indexes, such as FanWorks.Live Action TV. I'm pretty sure 5 is generally considered enough for a page, although I can't remember exactly where I saw that either somewhere on the forums or in ATT.
Did you mean this one?
Okay, I stand corrected.
Either way, the original question about a page with 10 entries: I'd say it's fine.
So, for example: FanWorks. The Chronicles Of Narnia has seven fanfics, then we should merge back to FanWorks.Literature ?

if we merge all the pages into the main one, in total, that'd be 210,318 bytes.
Maybe we can get away with keeping the biggest ones over 15K, but all the other ones that are less than 10K we can merge back.
I also saw that someone split off the Shout-Out entry for Sonic Mania under its own page here
Safe to merge back with the main page too, as it's only 121,222 bytes?

AndThatLittleGirlWasMe.Video Games has been merged back.
