I mean, yeah. His powers meant he probably knew the moment the brick was thrown and all he had to do was put his hand out.
From Peter's point of view, it would look like he out-reflexed him though
One Strip! One Strip!
Also this. Fair enough. Not rely faster reflexes.
I mean, I still think most would fail to catch that brick before Peter did.
Matt just had good positioning and his own powers to help him. That and years of ninja training.
Edit: I just realized. Is Jen a prosecutor or defence attorney?

One Strip! One Strip! To be clear: yes, She-Hulk breaking the fourth wall and changing the plot like this is completely in-character.... for her comic self. But thing is, until this episode her fourth-wall breaking in that show was very subdued, rarely going beyond talking directly at the audience and once or twice triggering flashback. So her flat-out getting out of her show to go complain to Marvel in the last episode felt... a little jarring? I'm not saying it's bad, but I can see how some people can perceive it a bit as a Deus Ex Machina.
I've been wondering if have her do more fourth wall breaking (like calling previously ons) earlier would have been good or not. Part of the appeal of the finale is the shock and 'are they really doing this?' aspect of it.
Same thing with the idea that Jen is literally fighting the writers when it comes it being a superhero show vs a laywer one. Like she breaks the fourth wall drags it towards laywerness and then the writers throw in more superheroics, regardless of whether it makes sense could lead into the finale more smoothly.
But then as I as the abruptness is part of the finale's thing so who knows.
It occurs to me that Blonski probably only had that retreat because he was able to subvert his inhibitor,
He didn't own that retreat, his seven, uhh, wives did. And they clearly are at least largly interested in him because he can turn into an eleven foot tall monster.
There's almost a parallel there to Jen, who likewise had to embrace and leverage her hulk form to make her life finantually feedable, and was left without options when it was taken away from her.
Also, weird to me that Emil's voice doesn't change when he does.
Bruce and Jen don't have their voices change either. It is a little incongruous with the physics involved: their vocal cords ought to enlarge as well, but it's probably for the audience's benefit. It is a missed opportunity for the writers to have Jen call it out, but it's not really all that important.
YMMV on the progression of the fourth-wall breaks, but I've seen commentary about how subtly yet brilliantly episode 8 sets up the finale. Jen notices that it's coming, realizes that there's usually a last-minute twist, and then resolves to just go with it because she's fairly confident in her ability to handle it. But that last shot, of her turning in horror to face the camera, isn't shock at what she just did. No, no. She's in shock at what the writers just did.
It makes perfect sense for her character arc to then progress to yelling at the writers themselves.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I guess we'll have to wait for the mini-documentary to find out.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"The looking at the audience or writers thing was confirmed in that article from the writer.
Anyway, it took me almost a week to get to see the finale but I enjoyed it.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersNot certain if it came up earlier in the stream, but Jessica Gao apparently had to be talked down from quitting over Kevin Feige vetoing the K.E.V.I.N. hat.
As regards Blonskey getting sent to jail, it's not uncommon for minor parole violations to result in people going back to prison. And, in this case, it's actually because he blatantly broke their rules even if he was genuinely trying to help people rather than the usual case of petty bureaucracy and people wanting to prove that the ex-con deserves to go back in jail by engineering a situation where they're bound to violate parole, like requiring them to have a 9-5 job without significant absences, and then scheduling the parole meetings during the work day with little notice.
Side note, regarding the inhibitor cuffs, my headcanon right now is that they didn't actually figure out how to block the Hulk powers that quickly, but rather than the bands are a little closer to an Explosive Leash such that the idea is that, rather than preventing the transformation, it makes it extremely uncomfortable to deadly (while setting off an alarm). Sure, Bruce stated that he tried to eat a bullet and The Other Guy spat it out, but I think it's also been established that he's an extreme case due to the split personality. That said, I still find it a bit weird that Blonskey, not noted to be especially technically gifted, was able to subvert his so easily and so often.
I just find it funny that they were able to make a device complex enough to either suppress the Abomination or discourage Blonsky from transforming, but couldn't make a device that he couldn't just unlatch from his ankle and stick on a nearby chicken.
Like. It's this ultra-complex piece of super-tech that fails at doing what a basic-ass ankle monitor does. Reed Richards Overcomplicated Everything.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.
What I read was that Feige was only persuaded to okay the hat when they made it part of the camera shroud. Either way it's hilarious.

I wonder if that's an intentional part of the joke. The mid-credits art scenes don't seem like they are meant to be taken literally but as gags that add context to scenes within the show. If that's not true and they are literal, then I hope that Donny Blaze survived his trip to the Mirror Dimension.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Of course he did! Magicians are experts at using mirrors as part of their act.
Really, I just wanna know what would happen if you put Saracen in the Mirror Dimension. It would be the ultimate "totally-a-vampire" test!
"I'm Mr. Blue, woah-woah-ooh..."Seems like Simon Pegg is a fan of the series in a recent vlog

Yeah, that confuses me too. Kinda misses the whole point of doing that thing to begin with. Not much of an insurance if it's that easy to subvert.

Saw it. They're nicer compared to usual this time. Their last MCU trailers were very vitriolic, but this one is more in the middle.

Wow. I wonder if Matt is gonna tell Foggy and Karen that he met both the Hulk and She Hulk.
That's gonna be an interesting story, especially since it's more his first meeting with the big league as far as fellow heroes are concerned.
Well, he technically met Spider-Man, even if he doesn't remember it. Shame too. You don't often get to tell the story of how you out-reflexed Spider-Man.
One Strip! One Strip!
