As an addendum, it seems like both this and Plot Preassumption were drive-by edits, since the user who made both only edited the wiki for two days and then disappeared, so I don't think the creator has any interest in these pages anymore.
You can't always get what you want. The very few wicks makes this a prime candidate for cut and move on imo. are there a lot of inbounds that should be preserved?
There are more inbounds than there were for Plot Preassumption, but I don't think cutting would be a big deal.
Edit: A post in the Plot Preassumption thread mentioned that Plot Pivot Point has overlap with Anthropic Principle and For Want Of A Nail, while another post mentioned that both Plot Preassumption and Plot Pivot Point overlap with Worldbuilding, so perhaps we could disambiguate between those to keep inbounds.

You can't always get what you want.If we care about these inbounds then disambiguate.

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI'm more in favor of cutting if it's possible over disambiging for the redlink but either outcome has my vote
You know, after taking a closer look at Anthropic Principle, which I neglected to do before, I'm pretty sure Plot Pivot Point is completely redundant with that trope. The former page had already existed for about three years by the time the latter was made.

You can't always get what you want.I vote to cut.
Ukrainian Red CrossCut. (Which means disambig here 'cuz of the 1200 inbounds)
I guess we can disambiguate, then.
You can't always get what you want.Sure to disambiguating
Macron's notesDisambig.
We're waiving the Three-Day Rule for this one, so time to disambiguate.
You can't always get what you want. That didn't take long, so closing.
You can't always get what you want.
Plot Pivot Point has few examples both on the page itself and in wicks. It's also not clear what its purpose is, since "What if X happened instead of Y at plot point Z?" is too speculative to be an objective trope, and even as a YMMV concept it could potentially be too broad depending on how much is left up to speculation. The TRS thread that cut Plot Preassumption discovered that both were created by the same person at close to the same time, on top of both being launched in bad shape without YKTTW.
Only four of the 11 wicks are on pages for works, which is about the same amount as the wicks on indexes, which includes maintenance-related indexes like Pages Needing Wicks and Tropes Needing TRS. I'm leaning toward cutting this, and if anyone thinks there's anything worth salvaging, Yarding it would probably be the way to do it.
Anyway, here are the wicks on work pages, since how it's used may be relevant. The three that aren't potholes appear to just be listing plot points that could have gone in a different direction, which might be covered elsewhere, if it's even a trope in the first place:
- Fanfic.Catch Your Breath: Kushina and Minato survive Naruto's birth. A pothole that isn't connected to a standalone example for the trope (it's in the example text for a different trope), so it's basically a ZCE.
- VisualNovel.Daughter For Dessert: If MC decides to sell the diner into liquidation, saving it would be out of the question, and plus, in all likelihood, Cecilia would have no trouble convincing Amanda to abandon him.
- VisualNovel.Double Homework: If MC and Tamara didn’t force the cable car door open, MC wouldn’t be in summer school, either because he wouldn’t be traumatized about an avalanche that didn’t happen, or because he would be dead from an avalanche that would have happened anyway.
- VisualNovel.Melody: If MC doesn’t take the job as Melody’s music tutor, he won’t be able to launch her successful career.
You can't always get what you want.
