FRIDAY, JULY 22, Marvel returns to San Diego Comic-Con with panels and updates on X-Men '97, What If…? (2021) Season 2, and Marvel Zombies.

Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonJust checked on my Netflix app and you're right. Huh. Never saw this coming. Probably means nothing in the long run, but still a nice surprise.
Wait. If Abomination became a zombie...guess the Hulk didn't survive against Wanda.
Trust no one.Looks like we got a still of the Zombies series. Seems we've got the Red Guardian and that dude whose name I've already forgotten from Shang-Chi involved in this show.
Also, what the hell is Jimmy Woo wearing???
Trust no one.Variety's summary:
There’s also a team of Widows from “Black Widow” and a biker gang of Skrulls from “Captain Marvel,” all decked out in post-apocalyptic looks. No release date for “Marvel Zombies” was given. The “Marvel Zombies” panelists also promised that the show isn’t going to shy away from the gore and grossness of the classic “Marvel Zombies” comic series.
Huh. Okay. Curious where this could end up going. I do love the Skrulls too, so that's a bonus.
How is Ikarus a zombie though? Isn't he technically a robot?
Trust no one.Heh biker Skrulls
Well he's more of an organic construct
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."According to reporter Eric Goldman:
Oooof poor Ikaris
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The trailer for I am Groot series of shorts, coming August 10:
Oh man, I'm not hyped for more Zombies... except I've always wanted more Hawkeyes either of them.
If they're willing to do TV-MA animated shows, i wonder if that raises the chances of an Immortal Hulk animated show.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Some additional and updates slides I found from New Rockstars' coverage. Kamala was missing in the initial group shot. The labelled Skrulls shot is actually for Zombies, going by Variety's summary above:
The Skrulls see Mad Max for apocalypse fashion tips? Or Hokuto?

Wake me up at your own risk.According to Deadline, Hit-Monkey has been renewed for Season Two.
Olivia Munn will return to voice Akiko, the smart and ambitious niece of the future prime minister, while Jason Sudeikis will be back as Bryce, a world-weary assassin who has made poor life choices. Also returning to the series are Fred Tatasciore as Hit-Monkey — described as the killer of killers — and Ally Maki as Haruka, an honest cop from a small town.
Leslie Jones joining the cast this season but Hulu has yet to reveal her character.
Impressive save seeing as it's the only Marvel-Hulu project that managed to survive.
Happy to hear that, i enjoyed the first season.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Appropriately, Marvel has officially uploaded the Avengers: EMH episode "The Man Who Stole Tomorrow".
Along with highlights of Ant-Man and the Wasp on Spidey and His Amazing Friends.
Guessing they want to hype up Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Although if they start uploading all off The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes to Youtube, I'd be down for that.
Naturally. They have uploaded full episodes of the Marvel Universe block of shows, including EMH, in the recent past. Although, unlike other channels, they're usually timed and privated after they're done cross-promoting whatever current MCU project or holiday at the time.
"The Man in The Ant Hill" was also uploaded:

Pillar of Garbage, a YouTube essayist who's covered comic book adaptations like Avengers: EMH, recently did a video investigating the circumstances behind Wolverine and the X-Men's cancellation.
With help from two anonymous creative staff members, and a video interview with supervising producer Joshua Fine, Piller finds the show's cooproduction system might have been screwed from the beginning.
- 1:43: Part one, dysfunctional development?
- 7:53: Part two, the interview
- 12:44: Part three, The Man With Google
- 15:06: The truth at last
- 19:35: Conclusion and #SaveTheYostVerse
That was a cool video from a Youtuber I already enjoy. While I did know that they main reason that show was canned was due to funding issues, I nonetheless appreciated all the detective work he used to actually confirm that.
I honestly didn't even know there was a misconception that it was caused by the Marvel/Fox feud. It kind of reminded me of the blog post I did recently to uncover the TRUE reason Beware the Batman got canned.

Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).
Been thinking for a while to have a thread specifically for all of Marvel's animated projects in the past, present, and future.
Not every Marvel animated topic will have a sustainable thread, especially in the What Could Have Been territory, so this will also serve that niche.
Specific threads:
To kick things off, it seems like Marvel's Hulu projects are winding down with the cancellation of M.O.D.O.K. (2021).
As reported by Variety:
“M.O.D.O.K” was originally one of four Marvel animated shows that were set up at Hulu. The others were “Hit-Monkey,” “Howard the Duck,” and “Tigra and Dazzler.” They were produced by Loeb’s now defunct Marvel Television unit. The plan was to launch all four shows and then have them crossover in an event series known as “The Offenders.”
But two of the four — “Howard the Duck” and “Tigra and Dazzler” — were scrapped before ever making it to air, while “Hit-Monkey” aired one season thus far in November 2021 with no word on a second. It is not expected to return The shows in part fell victim to the end of Marvel Television as Kevin Feige’s Marvel Studios took over television production on all Marvel projects. They have since successfully launched Disney+ shows like “Wanda Vision,” “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier,” “Loki,” and most recently “Moon Knight.”
