Opening.
I am good with merging.

Actually, do we have a trope for "inaccurate/simplified depictions of dress codes"?
Merge.

Merge away, maybe yard an unrealistic dress code idea?
Got the okay to waive the three day rule for this thread. Time to merge!
Page has been converted into a redirect.
90 wicks, or 89 if we're not counting Trope Report (which should be kept as is)
Dewicking right now. I've been removing ZCEs because I don't know how to rework them. Is that OK?
Oh crap I accidentally added examples to Stock Costume Traits. Be right back, gonna fix those.
Fixed them. Dewicking is officially done, and the wick check has been cutlisted. We are good to close!
Hollywood Dress Code's page is almost entirely general examples talking about common ways that clothes are used to show characterization (with awful indentation issues)... which seems to make it a duplicate of Stock Costume Traits (which at least is much better written). That trope has its own issues though, having no on-page examples and acting as a pseudo-index for other costume/appearance tropes despite not being listed as a definition-only page.
Both tropes are being used mostly in the descriptions of other appearance tropes instead of on work pages, which seems to indicate that we could probably merge Hollywood Dress Code with Stock Costume Traits and make the resulting page into a Exampleless Supertrope without much trouble.
