We got our first look into the 4th Thor movie!

That seems hard to believe.

We have a Thor Ragnarok thread. Hasn't been used in years, and this is for a new movie. I see both the benefit of this one and bumping that one, I think I lean towards just using this one.

Loved the teaser. I have also loved watching the different reactions to Jane as Thor online. Especially fangirls reacting to her arms. Which, at least from what I can tell, is very different from their reaction to her before hand.

I liked the teaser (too much Quill, not enough Jane and Val, w/e). As someone who dislikes Marvel's tendency to color their films gray and brown I like the visuals we see here.

The visuals are pretty impressive considering how the original 2 movies were criticsed for being 2 Earth centric.

Everything looks great, now we just wait to see what Gorr looks like.

So correct me if I am wrong but we still don't know how Jane (if she is from the "main" universe) got her hands on a functional version of Mjolnir, given Hela shattered it and the time displaced version was taken back to its original timeline, right?

Yeah, we don't know exactly how it gets back together. I'm going to assume it's not Superglue.

I am amused that this is prolly the happiest Thor yet because he is free. No princely responsibilities, no looming ascension to the throne, no Thor is free of all that. He can live life as he pleases now and going by the trailer appears to be satisfied finding himself.

Though Valkyrie looks a bit unhappy there. Poor gal got the short end of the stick there, most warrior Asgardians hate being in positions of authority.

Yeah, I don't think Valkyrie had long meetings with foreign diplomats in mind when Thor made her Queen of New Asgard. I'm loving the vibe of this whole trailer, but I think Thor hasn't quite hung up his axe yet. There has to be a big third-act CGI battle — it's the law — and I suspect that the final passing of the torch will happen there.

Or maybe he'll reconcile his peaceful and warlike sides in some way. After all, he is the God of Thunder. He can't stop being that.

Sure he can. Odin was able to strip him of his powers entirely. Why couldn't he give them up entirely?

The Ennead and the Eternals clearly gave no shits when these happened, so it isn't surprising the Olympians didn't care either?

It's the Greek pantheon. It's kind of well-established that they're petty assholes.
