Fanfic Recommendations Synopsis Cleanup

Right, so per this statement by Fighteer and this ATT, all of the Fanfic Recommendations pages need to be combed through and have any infringing descriptions removed. Despite these being back in 2021 however, I don't think anyone has actually done that; as such, this is a dedicated cleanup for the job.

If you can't rewrite the synopsis or don't care to, just replace it with filler text. I've been using this one from The Copy-Paste Cleanup Thread:

Started on the Anime folder:

• +Anima seems alright.
• You (C-E) already got to ×××HOLiC.
• Some recs for Ah! My Goddess had plagiarised synposes, all of which were added by one troper. I sent a notifier alerting her of the situation.

Just so we're all on the same page here, this means removing the synopses that were copy-pasted from the original fanfics, right? If so, I'll do FanficRecs.Animorphs.

Yep, only the ones that were copy pasted from the original fic.

...On second thoughts, I haven't read most of the fics mentioned there, so I don't know where to start. I'll definitely edit the ones I added, though.

Are copy-pasted synopses okay if they are marked as quotes? (e.g. with quote marks)

I don't think so. It's still the entire thing, isn't it?

Managed to get up to Assassination Classroom. Literally every synopsis was copy-pasted.

Can someone help me go through Attack on Titan? There's a lot of kink stuff on there, and I don't want to spend ages seeing if something's just plain porn or not.

Recs for full-on porn fics might be a better thing to flag with the 5P thread.

(Why do most of them list the rating? I've never seen that on a Recs page before.)

It's been a while since I last posted here and on the P5 thread, and I have recieved no response regarding the concerning recs I brought up. I really don't want to just leave them be, but I don't think I can just cut them (and I don't want to subject my eyes to any of that stuff, either). I'll get back to plagiarism-checking when I can, though.

Mmm, if there's no response on the P5 thread, maybe go ask on Ask The Tropers? There's more people there.

Since I'm making a post here already, I'm currently going through Web Animation and Tabletop Games sections since those are pretty short (except for RWBY. I'm not touching those pages).

Did Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons. I feel kind of bad that I had to cut six out of eight synopses. Oh well at least it's on a page no-one except me reads anymore.
