I can take the uncropped posters as a quality upgrade, but clear shots of characters faces from the actual movies would be preferable.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupOK for science...
| Character | Old pic | Comments |
| MCU: Doctor Strange | [1] | This is now bumped to labelnote caption territory. Having both is wholly unnecessary because he doesn't even look that different? Voting to revert or find something else. |
| MCU: Scarlet Witch | [2] | This was decided in a previous thread |
| Wong | [3] | Eh. Active magic is more indicative of the character. Revert |
| Mordo | [4] | Ambivalent on this one since both are clear. |
| Christine Palmer | [5] | Being able to see someone's hairline is nice. Revert |
| America Chavez | [6] | Old pic is WAY better. Revert |

I don't really care for these new images either. On top of some of them obscuring the faces (particularly where the eyes are concerned), it kind of makes it hard to figure out what kind of character they are just based on the face alone. The older images, primarily the full-body images from Infinity War and Endgame are still the best in illustrating that in my opinion.

"I'm Mr. Blue, woah-woah-ooh..."For Wanda, I think cropping the image of her from the poster could work as far as showing off her entire Scarlet Witch costume, but there's too much of other characters (such as a bit of America's left arm and Wong casting a shield) still in the frame.

With Mordo, I think both pictures should be retained because of how different his appearance in Multiverse of Madness (with dreads) is from the first film (a shaved head).

Okey Dokey! The dreads are barely visible in that lighting and my facial recognition is not so poor that I can't recognize him without another image telling me what he looks like. If he had a swanky new outfit in the new pic maybe but there's no point in cataloguing a hairstyle change.
I really hate this trend of sticking every variation of a character in a caption.

It seems that cropped pictures from the recently released posters
for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness have been used in the respective character pages. However, these versions look awkwardly cropped to me, because those posters had the film logo at the bottom of those posters. This means that we see more of their faces and less of their outfits.
So, I found character posters with the logo removed, cropped them consistently and I would like to recommend them as the new character images for the following:
Dr. Stephen Strange (MCU: Doctor Strange)
Master Wong (MCU: Masters of The Mystic Arts)
Master Karl Amadeus Mordo (MCU: Masters of The Mystic Arts)
Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch (MCU: Scarlet Witch, as the "Scarlet Witch" labelnote)
Dr. Christine Palmer (MCU: Citizens – New York City)
America Chavez (MCU: Other Superheroes)
Should any of these photos be accepted: please use 300 px as the size, since they will be clearer that way.
