Needs Help: Characters.Temtem Species

Back when this was part of the main Characters.Temtem page, I left a commented-out note at the top saying to use transparent artwork if it's available or a headshot if not, but now I'm considering changing it to all headshots. Not only does it look inconsistent, but the artworks don't all have the same proportions; when set to 200px wide, the Smolzy line are so skinny that their images double the length of their folder, while Nessla's image looks tiny.

I would prefer sprites over crops of the models. For example Mimit not having a sprite despite being the first in the list is kinda bothering. But I do like consistency.

Is the game still in early access? I guess it's all-mugshot until the artworks for all of them are available. (This Timtim index has them)

Thanks! I've been downloading images from the Temtem wikia up to that point, but as of late I've had to convert them from WEBP to PNG first.

If the Wikia images end with .png, you can download them as PNGs by adding "&format=original" to the end of the image URL, which is done automatically if you click "Show full sized picture" on the file page. It's also pretty dumb that TV Tropes automatically converts images to WebP but doesn't let you upload images in WebP format.

Alternatively, you can rightclick and copy the image, then paste in in MS Paint. Also there's a Chrome extension for saving images as PNG.

If you paste them into MS Paint, they won't be transparent anymore.

Oh, yes. I've meant about webp images that don't have transparent background. Well you can still paste them into another software.

So... should we have a vote? The folders that currently have artwork are Orphyll and Nidrasil; Nessla; and Smolzy, Sparzy, and Golzy, by the way.

Also, some of the headshots on the page^note Hidody, Fomu, Wiplump, Skail, and Skunch are lower-resolution than the others. Should we change them?

I'm having difficulty with this thread because I don't know the difference between 'transparent artwork' or 'headshot'. (Obviously I know what those words mean, but not in the context of this work/page). ~Nitro Indigo, could you give representative examples of each for a crowner?

The core problem is that not all artworks exists, while the mugshots could all just be taken, for example from here, so the suggestion was to make all images at character folders to look like 14.1.

Can be turned into Short-Term like the Asterix one? Currently, I see only one folder that still uses an artwork and half of the folders have no image.

Oh shoot, did I miss one of the artworks? I was already s l o w l y adding new images, so we can make this a short-term project if you want.
