Keep Until Better Image Suggested, it's not bad enough to pull outright.
I'd like to apologize for all this.It works. It shows all of the visual aspects of the character type (the outfit, the torch, the weapons, the association with fire and hanging). I'm open to suggestions, but it definitely isn't bad enough to pull.
regulation pigeonI like the current. For sake of offering a couple of suggestions, there's this art station piece
, which'd require contacting the artist.
And this one
◊ is from the game Grim Dawn.
The artstation one is good if we can get permission.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallI was about to message the artist asking for permission when I read from his profile that he lives in Kiev, Ukraine.
It was... hard to write that message, and it reminded me to find a charity to donate to. For obvious reasons he may not be able to or in a position to respond in some time, but I'll let y'all know when he does.
Understandable. If they respond we can change the pic later.

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupHuh, seems I was being pessimistic, he just wrote back granting permission!
Here's the message
◊ for keeping track of consent being granted.
I'm good with that picture. It's clearer than the current.
Fjón þvæ ég af mér fjanda minna rán og reiði ríkra manna.Might as well upload it, here's the Artstation pic from 5.1 with caption.

Brought this up here
to ask if it really illustrated the trope. Personally, I feel there are other images we can use that are clearer on the "witch" hunter part.
Why so serious?
