Check out Rogues Gallery Transplant: The GameI've been shiny hunting a lot in both PLA and Violet, to the point of having nearly ten boxes of shiny pokemon when adding them both together.(Not counting the hacked wonder trade or GTS trade pokemon I've have.)
Also last year I did a nuzlock of Violet and got six full odds shiny pokemon during it.
After 10 year plus years I have the confidence to be here. My one and only Fate servent.Looking only at SV: Managed to get two full odds shinies (Pawmi and Rockruff) before the first gym on separate playthrougs. Recently got a Masuda Applin, two Smeargle, a Venonat, and Venomoth. Best shiny luck would be two random Psyduck within seconds of each other. Most of collection comes from online raids and the special outbreaks, but otherwise this gen has been my best for shiny collecting.
On the subject of shinies, one thing I love about mass outbreaks is that you can use them to find specific forms of a Pokemon. I just had an outbreak of male Pyroar, which included a shiny.
It's also because of mass outbreaks that I was able to find a couple shiny Antique Form Sinisteas and Artisan Form Poltchageists.
"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."Okay, I’m getting frustrated since the question is being dodged but if Pecharunt got killed, what would happen?
Would the Loyal Three simply get depowered or would they just keel over and die?
I get the feeling that killing Pecharunt at the end of Mochi Madness would’ve undone the brainwashing but would everyone brainwashed like Nemona, Carmine, Arven, and Penny for example stop doing the chicken dance and do something else before snapping out of it?

Check out Rogues Gallery Transplant: The GameCan you kill Pecharunt? Like, ignoring the ghost type for a second, I'm not fully convinced any of the mythicals can be killed, possible exception of manaphy and phione.
And then there's the fact its a ghost type. Like, I have no basis for this belief, but I imagine that "killing" it would just lead to it reforming in the nearest river, floating along to wherever it leads.
So... Nothing might happen? Since it doesn't die?

Read Otr of the Flame (She/Her)Maybe if Yveltal drained its life force, then it could perhaps die.
Maybe if it was swarmed by a horde of Chandelure given that it feeds on souls as well

Check out Rogues Gallery Transplant: The GameBut it's a ghost type, is it even alive enough to have life force? Like, I'm pretty sure the undead in dnd have "negative energy" or something in place of life force, for example.
Read Otr of the Flame (She/Her)I mean perhaps it could be alive enough. I mean, there is Decidueye which is part Ghost type but isn’t undead.
Plus in the case of Chandelure, its flames do burn up the spirit and leave a body behind.

Check out Rogues Gallery Transplant: The GameI managed to catch a shiny Totodile recently. I'm holding off on evolving her in case Totodile's evolutions get regional variants in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. I also have a shiny Pignite that I hadn't evolved into Emboar yet, so I'm hoping that a Chikorita outbreak will show up sometime soon.
On the subject of the upcoming Bug Mass Outbreak, I haven't gotten a shiny Tarountula yet, so I'll probably be aiming for one when the event comes.

"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."As I understand it, ghosts are distinct from Ghost-type Pokémon, even way back in Gen I with the Marowak ghost (which isn't a Ghost-type despite being, well, a ghost).
And the anime had a Mimikyu's ghost, too.
So it's kinda confusing.
@MisterZygarde64: Setting aside the issue of whether or not Pecharunt can be killed, let's assume that they're dead for the sake of your original question.
The most that would happen because of that, I believe, is that Pecharunt would no longer be present to actively command the people they brainwashed with their poisoned mochi. The Loyal Three, who maintained their new powers even while Pecharunt was inert, would likely keep their powers for the rest of their lives, and everyone poisoned by the mochi would likely still follow the last command they were given until the poison in their bodies either left on its own or was cured by an outside source.
I don't see any evidence implying that No Ontological Inertia applies to Pecharunt's poison, either directly applied or administered via mochi.
I mean, didn’t catching Pecharunt undo the brainwashing?
Check out Rogues Gallery Transplant: The GameBack in the day, pokemon existed alongside other animals and supernatural creatures. But now that it's just people and pokemon, there are a bunch of things that don't make logical sense that you shouldn't think about it too long.
I assume there are some ghosts that just aren't ghost-type, just like how there are dragons that aren't dragon-type. And fairies that aren't fairy-type. And aquatic pokemon that aren't water-type. And...
Yeah, but in combination with being a mythical, I§d argue it gives ammo for it at least not being conventionally mortal. Plus, Sableye is still immune to normal and fighting moves, so clearly something must be up with it.
Read Otr of the Flame (She/Her)There's nothing saying a mythical can't die, dunno where people got that from. Mythicals speak to them being so rare they are thought to be a myth or illusory. In Fact, even besides Pecharunt, we've seen several mythicals nearly bite it since their inception.
- Mewtwo fought Mew with intent to kill, with their clash ending up petrifying Ash.
- Celebi did indeed die, got revived through other Celebi through time.
- Jirachi gets severely injured and wracked with pain during its movie
- Rayquaza is attempting to kill Deoxys multiple times in their debut movie, and its rivalry stretches to even the games as it helps fends off Deoxys in the delta episode
so on and so forth. I could go on but yeah there's no rule saying myhticals or even legends are immune to death. Even Yveltal, the embodiment of death to Xerneas' life, dies and reborns itself.
Gen 9 will, in all likelihood, end up as the longest generation since Gen 4.
Join the Five-Man Band cleanup project!I imagine they’ll announce Gen 10 on the 30th anniversary next February 27.
Join the Five-Man Band cleanup project! As a heads-up, the next Mass Outbreak event will take place from 00:00 UTC June 2 to 23:59 UTC June 4. Porygon will appear in these Mass Outbreaks with increased shiny chances.
"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."

Yanma is also one of the prominent symbols of Kitakami, so it's kinda surprising it still hasn't receive any event outbreak.
