I went from having useful cards, to worthless garbage. Oh well, at least my opponent having a monster turns off Fuwalos. This event would be god awful otherwise with Called By and Crossout banned.

HERO's works in Dice Rally for the most part. The only real issue is having a monster on the field messes with A HERO Lives, but at the same time having an extra body on the field is nice for link monsters and the like.
First game with the monster gimmick gave me Elemental HERO Marine Neos, which was neat.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyRunning into Mermail for the first time not going first, this deck is as horribly toxic and unfun as a video showing the deck off made it look with them starting by looking at my hand to banish the out to their board. Konami deciding that banning Dark World's handrip was a mistake for selling the pack they won't repeat this time is as as disappointing as them unbanning it later.
So far enjoying the Dice rally. Of note there was only one match I didnt enjoy which is when a Mermailantean deck had a combo that ripped 3 cards out of my hand (and i already used ash, meaning i had one card before my draw phase) and they had set up an impressive board with the anti spell mermail equip in tow.
Other than that, its fun shifting decks to fit with the prompts, been alternating between Rescue Ace and Plants and even some vernalsylphs since its been a long time.

Dice Rally has been fun but it's kind of been making me realize how hand trap heavy the modern game is. So many duels have been decided purely on if me or my opponent opens with a hand trap or not. If not, either they immediately surrender, or I surrender once they get their combo going since a lot of the time I don't feel like I can break their board with my opening hand.

Its really been convincing me that the people who say Called By / Crossout should be banned because "handtraps should resolve" are completely wrong. Was actually kinda hilarious because I was arguing with a person saying that elsewhere that both being banned is a good thing, then they learn Droll is still legal in the event and immediately reverse their stance.
Limited:
- Bonfire
- Original Sinful Spoils – Snake-Eye
Semi-Limited:
- Maiden of White
- Sage with Eyes of Blue
- Branded Fusion
Unlimited:
- Nimble Beaver
- Spright Blue
- Spright Jet
- Nadir Servant
Turns out having a ROTA at more than one copy causes peoblems, who knew. Blue Eyes rakes a consistency hit while Spright gets some tools back
I've been getting shown anime clips on You Tube that's making me want to play this game again, but I still remember that a fuckload of its players are slaves to the meta >.>
I had a fuckton of fun with the Dice Rally event. Especially when I wasn't going against the loaner decks, or under the 1/2 LP restriction. I think I ended on board 26. I didn't even have to change my regular Snake/Charmer/Geist deck deck that much. Just took out Diabellstar and put in the EARTH AOTP line, and replaced the banned cards with more copies of cards I already had.
I got hundreds of Legacy Packs, and still haven't pulled a Card Destruction or D.D. Dynamite, though.
It was a lot of fun when the cards the game gave you wound up being useful in a winning play. I even won a duel thanks to Graceful Dice!

The sad, REAL American dichotomyI've got one, but there's a lot of variety in how you can build one. For example, I run the Link Charmers, the AOTP monsters and continuous spell, but don't actually run the main deck charmers, instead using level 1 Altergeist monsters, or Snake Eyes, to get the other requirement.

I loved letting someone get their Ra out, do its point to point transfer, and then attack directly through it using Altergeist Peritrator or Meluseek.
