How are Rikkas?

Pretty decent-ish. The general theme is tributing plants and Teardrop has the power to tribute the opponent's monsters. And Sheet Flurries also forces a Share the Pain esque effect on the opponent

I also got Utopia Double package (which is actually pretty cheap since Utopia is in a SD and Double is a "mere" SR), which means I have a way to close out games. Other things I had gotten include Hyperiton, Jasmine the adorable aromaseraph, and Akiza'a ace and upgrade for said ace.

That said I only have the following staples wise: 2 Ash, 2 Nibiru, 1 Crossout Designator/Lightning Storm/Solemn Judgment each and 0 Maxx C/Called.

I also have a Madoclhe deck, which is also Xyz focused, but I am missing Rafflesia and Gravedigger's, so it is as prone to giant meteor impacts as Rikka.

I have enough cards that I could probably do Zombie World Eldlich for this, but my heart is telling me to play Wights+Baby Tiragon for the memes.

Alright so it turns out that you can only use Xyz monsters for the event. makes sense, but it is rather lousy since both Rikka and Madolche are improved by Links.

Literally just have to take out two Links I almost never use and my Lyrilusc deck is good to go.

My only Xyz deck is Noble Knights, who are massively slowed down without Isolde. So kinda screwed for this.

Ive been working on getting galaxys but it might just be too expensive in the end. I should be able to make a sylvan/rikka hybrid if all else fails.

A functional Galaxy Eyes deck would be okay main deck wise, but you'd need a lot of UR cards in the extra to make it work.

I, uhh…have the Melffy half of the Melffy/Tri-Brigade deck I’m almost done with that was too funny to resist making? I guess I could mix that with baby raccoons or something.

My other decks have either situational extra deck stuff or none at all, so I guess it’ll be cute animals for this event.

Rank-up to Platinum 1. Up against Virtual World, and over the course of the duel they Nibiru me, then get out Shenshen, Vermillion Mech, VFD, Final Sigma, Utopia Beyond, and Zeus. Still couldn't deal with one (well two eventually) Assembled Birdie. Nothing feels better than staring down a field of scary boss monsters and fearing absolutely nothing.

Gonna be the villain that brings a True Draco deck to the Xyz event. You can definitely play a super-budget version limited almost entirely to commons and rares. You really only lose out in-archetype on Dinomight and Diagram.

The event details state there's going to be a unique F/L list for this event. I wonder if they're gonna hit any "problem" decks or cards like Dimensional Barrier.

Have enough cards for a Utopia deck.Is it worth running?

Full power utopias can defenitely work in platnium, seen it a few times myself.

Ugh. Got straight into Platinum last night, then immediately lost a couple of games, one of them being True Draco. The other loss was my fault-missed my chance to activate conquistador against toons and bounced off the shine castle-but True Draco was like a four hour dentist appointment crammed into 40 minutes of my life I will never get back. By the end, I spent my last three turns essentially in draw-go trying to topdeck my feather duster because I could do nothing while my opponent played solitaire.

These 3 yugi tubers banded together to try and cause an infinite loop in Master Duel to see how the game would respond. In this example, Jinzo equipped with Amplifier allows traps to use their effects, but that also begs the question of how the loop between Skill Drain and Royal Decree will resolve itself.

Problem is that you need to get into 3 different packs for that deck (Onomats, Numbers and Utopia itself)

I once ran into a terrifying Utopia board with 3 monster negates, 2 spell negates, reduce attack to 0, and attack redirection into a 3000 face. I did manage to Zeus it all away, but can absolutely be terrifying if given the chance to setup.

Well I dismantled some cards for once, crafted some more common cards and crafted one Utopia Dragoner.

I'm going with a Doll Monster deck with some Level 4 extenders and a Numbers toolbox for Dragoner's effect. With some emphasis on OT Ks (Numeron Dragon, Utopia Double)

[Note I do have some chap Numbers as well, but couldn't get Memories of Hope. I also have a more standard Gagaga deck, but I've only two of the Wild card Utopic Onomatopoeia. I also have no Astral Kuriboh as well FWIW. I also have Lightning as well]

Utopias working wonders.Cant help but feel like Yuma as I use the good old Double or Nothing combo.

I just want to get to Plat so I can get the dumb PS 4 trophy, why won't people stop not losing to me. It's very rude.

I fought my way to Gold 1, somehow. Dare I test my luck by going further

if you're just looking to win and get to Plat, with no other qualifiers, i recommend trying out a meta deck.

Virtual World, Dryton, and Adamancipators are all good ones. Dinos are also excellent and will probably be very, very good at crushing people turn 2 in a BO 1 format.

if you're looking to use your favorite archetype from your teenage years uhhh your next best bet is to throw in three Maxx "c" and pray

Add Eldlich to that, which is what I used to get to platinum. Good luck building it without spending 100$+ in real money on gems though. I refused to do so, and scrounged and saved everything from solo and the initial gem dump; and still had to break done almost every UR I did not need for the deck. So now Eldlich is literally all I can play in ranked.

I had practically no issues reaching Platinum with HEROes, but I didn't start running into the broken decks until getting to plat. My big brain strat is to perform so much searching and special summoning that the opponent surrenders under the assumption I'm building some giga powerful board. Or boredom, that seems more likely, really.

My Invoked Shaddoll Dogmatika deck doesn't feel very strong, especially since I don't have any Pots, but I am winning more often than not, so I must be doing something right. Yet I know only one strategy that I must follow turn after turn after turn. Normal summon Aleister.

Eyyyyyyy, I made it to plat. Now I can go back to using fun shitty decks. Sunvines. Infernity. Superheavy Samurai. The world is my bivalve mollusc.
