New cards coming on the 4th.
Despia, Magikey, Gunkan, Speedroid, Majestic and Fleur, and other cards for older archetypes.
Basically adding stuff from the physical game originally released last year.
It seems to be a selection pack. So not a secret pack but one of the static ones.
Also, I've been using a Majespecter deck dzeef made (decklist in the video) for the N/R event. It's actually a really powerful control deck since your monsters are immune to targeting and destruction effects and non-targeting/non-destruction removal is rare. You just kind of win if you get Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon out. I've only lost once so far, and that was because it was my first duel with the deck and I was still learning it.
If you use the deck then I'd highly consider replacing Majespecter Storm with another copy of Majespecter Sonics. Your monsters are still susceptible to dying by battle, and a Spell Speed 1 bounce isn't good enough even if it's searchable since you still need to Tribute a card for it. This deck is actually super bad at swarming (the only monster with a Special Summon effect is the Odd-Eyes you run, none of the Majespectors have Pendulum effects or interact with Scales in any way, and post-Link rules prevent you from spitting out your Extra Deck Pendulums every turn), so you kind of ride or die by your one Normal Summon (Field Spell notwithstanding) and want to use any disruptions you have on your opponent's turn.

What cards have you been running? I'm curious.
Speaking of, I went on a 10 win streak before losing, and only because of bricking. I almost lost a game to Cydra (I popped Overflow on their turn and let them combo off), but my opponent apparently couldn't run over the Kaiju they gave me and surrendered before my second turn.

I personally added Fairy Meteor Crush over the Archfiend Staff and Dimension Wall.
Really hate when your opponent locks you out of doing anything for an incredibly long time then when you finally get to turn things around they surrender before you can finish winning. If you make me sit around for twenty turns, unable to do anything but stall, the least you could do is let me finish running my winning move.
I saw Number 77 hard summoned like three games in a row and proceeded to immediately remove it lol. The first two times I sniped it on summon and at least one of my opponents immediately surrendered as a result. The third time it stayed on the field and punched me (I think I missed something that gave it destruction immunity) and removed it right after with Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon.
After getting all the gems you can from the N/R Festival I can say that Majespecters where an amazing choice for this format. I lost twice out of about 15(?) games and the first loss was due to me going in without knowing how the deck worked. A bunch of people surrendered to me, too. The only time I was in any reasonable trouble was when I 0/3'd a friend running Metalfoes FA, and that was in a private room.

Upcoming changes to Daily Missions. Now we can just sit for 3 days and do all 9 missions tp turn a profit without needing to duel everyday.
The free 50 Legacy Tickets from PSN have reset, so if you are on PS 4 and 5 with linked accounts you can redeem them both again.
I at least got some wins in with my new Gravekeepers deck but I even got OTK'd at one point.
Or if you don’t, accept that you’re going to lose more often than someone who does. My deck’s not meta, but I like how it plays, and it’s good enough to beat meta decks sometimes. It does well against everything else. Sometimes you’re going to be outmatched, and it’s up to you to decide if it’s worth it to play what you like.
…but yeah, I wouldn’t complain if they added an unranked mode. I know the one in Duel Links is a bot playground, and I’m not sure it’d be better here, but it wouldn’t hurt to have it. The events are fun, too, just to have something different to do.
Oh I accept I'm going to lose. I just wish I could actually play before losing. Staring at the screen for five minutes while the person combo's their entire deck onto and off of the field ending in my loss without me being able to do anything isn't fun, it's annoying.

It's funny, their combos are a lot shorter but that's GK's plan as well.
What started as a deck with the gimmick of locking the GY out has inadvertently become an anti-meta lockdown deck as the GY's become more and more important to combos for every other deck.
Though generally yeah, Gravekeepers need to go first or else they lose. Their entire gameplan is keeping the other player from playing the game whatsoever, so that wincon's moot if the opponent goes first anyways.
...though if things like VFD and Rhongo are what caused you issues, rest assured those are dumb cards that shouldn't be legal in the first place.

🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaUpdate details.
The new info is about the Duel Passes, their prizes, the exact card lists for the new Selection Packs, and a new Solo Mode involving Heralds.
No banlist revision in sight even though the game desperately needs one right now.

Alright, did a bunch more draws last night, got a bunch of Six Samurai cards. I remember that deck did pretty well in Duel Links. so it might be something I can do that'll work better than my Junk deck.
