The Ambiguity Index lists all the disambiguation pages on the wiki. However, I've noticed that quite a few of them, particularly the ones in the Main namespace and are former tropes from TRS threads, are full of wicks from people not reading the disambiguation page.
Obviously this is because of terrible troping habits, but after running into Mismatched Eyes and discovering that page alone has over 800 wicks, I thought a more formal cleanup might be in order to get some help removing the wicks to these.

Since it's pretty clear attempts to dewick it haven't worked at all.

I'm ready to give up on Foe Yay, since its parallel to Ho Yay makes it easy to misuse.
If anyone is up for a long project, Incredibly Lame Pun is a persistent one.
Incredibly Lame Pun wasn't even on the Ambiguity Index, so I've added it there.
Oh, interesting, I have found TRS Wick Cleaning, which probably also has a good list of targets. I didn't know that was a page.

Mismatched Eyes has been on that list for years. I am not sure how it grew that fast from the last time the page was turned into a disambiguation. Every time I attempted to clean it, the wicks grew back so I gave up. It also has a short term clean up thread
but that hasn't gotten traction.
I'd say most disambiguations that used to be tropes have grown back some of their wicks because people add them by memory instead of checking the page.

I've noticed that, yeah. I've received comments from tropers after sending notifiers that the link was blue so they figured it was fine.

TBH, I'm surprised Incredibly Lame Pun is a disambig and not, like, a redirect or something. I've seen it used so often that it makes more sense to me.

I think Incredibly Lame Pun is one of those sinkhole magnet pages that are near impossible to keep clean. I don’t think clean up is feasible, honestly.
Oh and according to Pothole Magnet, ILP used to be a redirect to Pun. I am not sure if the decision to turn it into a disambiguation was actually approved or not.

I've backed out the Incredibly Lame Pun disambiguation - the redirect works perfectly well and the disambiguation will only mislead tropers into making edits there never was consensus for.

This is, like, semi-related, but do you think it would be worth making UsefulNotes.Heterochromia to catch a lot of the Mismatched Eyes wicks? I've noticed in most cases people just tend to wick Mismatched Eyes to make an example more concise, as it's shorter than "this character has two different eye colors" — hell, I did that too before finding out it was a disambig.

Blondes Are Evil has 172 wicks that need to be cleaned. While I am still an amateur at wick cleaning, I will try to clean up the wicks.
I support the idea of UsefulNotes.Heterochromia, provided the page discusses how fiction depicts those with such.
