The show is... pretty mid. Not great, not terrible. Padded out. The ending was anti-climatic as hell. Characters are interesting but they keep doing the exact same dangerous thing over and over despite getting caught. Lots of things are dropped to the audience without explanation.

The two main characters are interesting and sympathetic.

Someone should make an article for the show.

So I recently came across this series. Given how it's been almost 2 and a half years since those 16 episodes dropped on Peacock, it's safe to say that it's not coming back. Now, as for my thoughts on the show, it's fine. There's some decent stakes and the characters are alright, but I agree with the Uncertain Audience entry in how this show seems tonally confused. Like, it feels weird to have a show with character designs that look straight out of Elena Of Avalor (a Disney Junior show that's also animated by Icon Creative Studios) yet try to push itself even further than that show. At the same time, it also weirdly feels like it's trying to hold back on its mature themes, like it's a preschool show or something. Granted, the fact that many people who worked on this show worked on Super Monsters (a preschool show that's also animated by Icon Creative Studios) adds to this feeling since it feels like a show for 17 year olds written by 5 year olds. I won't say I wasn't invested, but more in a "turn your brain off and don't think about things too much" kind of way. Maybe the show could've been picked up by Amazon Prime Video given how much they love adult animation.
