I think it's interesting there are tons of Constructed Worlds that are sci-fi or magical in origin. But I really never seen a Superhero Constructed world and it would be interesting to see what it would be like. I would even add in it would be interesting to see an isekai where a protagnist gets transported to a Superhero would.

When I first started writing, I just made a world where the premise was really simple.

Superpowers exists.

But only criminal are the ones who get them.

Meaning, that if you are a morally good and honest and lawful person, you are just a normal human being.

If you aren't, then you will get a random superpower out of the blue the moment you decide to become morally "evil", out of nowhere.

And the power only lasts for as long as you are evil, with it turning dormant the moment you go back to the "good" path again.

The phenomena was commonly known in the setting as "Eating the Apple".

You can imagine the sheer temptation such a setting would have on an ordinary person.

Not to mention the prejudice included, since everyone knows that the only ones with superpowers, are the "evil" ones.

Something like this?

[up][up] Interesting, I don’t think anyone has tried this before, but there’s still one nagging detail that I feel needs addressing.

How long have the fantastical elements been around for? Have superheroes always existed? Are they a new thing? Is humanity the only species? Is there a Masquerade? Things like this are going to affect a setting like this majorly.

SKREEEEEEEONK!
