Either that or Abdiel was able to tell Yuzuru contained someone's Knowledge (Tsukuyomi does imply that it's possible for demons to sense Knowledge, even if they don't know whose it is), and then put two-and-two together when she saw him together with Tsukuyomi.
Though Yuzuru telling Ichiro as a show of trust does give the narrative a bit more tragedy (and makes killing Abdiel and Ichiro feel more cathartic), so I like that particular explanation more.

"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."She can’t. She doesn’t have his Knowledge and thus knows nothing on who his God half is. There’s definitely methods to find out of course, but she didn’t know who Yuzurus other half was.
Dazai explicitly states he was talking about becoming a Nahobino and that’s why he had him killed.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
That first guess of mine (which I should clarify I'm not super serious about) doesn't require that Abdiel know which specific god has Yuzuru as their Knowledge; I based it off of one of Tsukuyomi's lines where he tells Ichiro that he senses someone's Knowledge within him, and while he doesn't know whose it is, he knows enough to tell that it isn't one of the Amatsukami's.
And like I said in that previous post, I do think your explanation makes more sense on what happened. And I'll admit that I forgot Ichiro's exact words to Yuzuru in that scene when I wrote my previous post, so that's on me.

"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."
Hypothesis: Tsukuyomi knew exactly who Dazai's Knowledge belonged to, and was lying because he thought there was a very real chance of Abdiel killing him if she found out.
Bumping this thread with a bit of sad news: Atsuko Tanaka, voice actor for Lilith in Shin Megami Tensei V (as well as the Lilith in Shin Megami Tensei IV), has passed away.
This game's Lilith was the last work I ever heard her in, so that's going to make the game feel a bit more somber.

"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."I beat Vengeance. End play time 62 hours and 34 minutes. Level 82. Got the new Law ending without directly aiming for anything in particular. Ending was pretty meh, and I literally forgot I'd have to fight old Lucy Goosey over here after Tehom.
Yoko was a fun addition. She, plus the new cutscenes and Haunt mechanics, really helped flesh out Tao, but a lot of their literal and figurative humanity is lost when they become goddesses. There's a reason why Persona is so beloved by the masses in a way mainline SMT isn't, and a lot of it has to do with story and characters. That being said I did like how this game gave some more characterization to the Atsuta siblings and Dazai. It made the tragedy sting all that more.
Didn't bother fighting either of the original superboss this time around. I beat Shiva back in the day and was just too lazy to try fighting spoiler: Demi-Fiend. Maybe next time, maybe eventually.
Yokos entirely human still. In fact that she’s 100% human at her core is WHY she can rebel at all since turning Goddesses into soulless robots is part of the Mandala and Throne System.
Beating Shiva along with doing the old Neutral only quests in Co V would have opened up the True Lucifer boss fight as well. Who is now actually tougher than Shiva!

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I thought she was a goddess this whole time? That's why she was sealed away in the beginning?
Either way, the Vengeance story basically stops being as engaging for me once we reach Taito. I liked having Tao and Yoko as party members for basically the entire time they were available. Same for Yuzuru and Dazai, for as short as that was. Once I fused with Tsukuyomi...well things felt a lot lonelier.
Yes she was, but she was betrayed and that betrayal made her cynical and against the system she was born to serve, especially as it would have left her there to rot for eternity.
In doing so it emphasizes that she never lost her soul and remains 100% human at her core.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. Here's a question I can't remember if it was answered in either V or V:V, does every human have some Demon's Knowledge? Or is it only a select handful of humans that have a select handful of Knowledge?
Given the way the story is present, it seems to be the latter, but given the whole thing with the Tree of Knowledge you'd think it'd be every human ever. Then again it could be that there's a static amount of Knowledge in existence, and as the human population grew it just was recycled by a proportionally smaller amount each and every generation?
The new update is now live
. Marici has been included for free in the game alongside the six new Navigator, and there are new Virtual Battles to do. Menorah(High Tier Fiends + Demifiend), Nemesis(Mara,Shiva, Samael, Satan) and Guardians.
Oh wow, I wasn't expecting them to add Marici into the game. Nice!
I'll check this out later when I have time today. I'm looking forward to checking out the new stuff.
"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."Hey they went all in on the new Marici quest. Based on COV Law or Chaos his dialogue changes, same for Co C having a small bit of dialogue change.
Instead of saying it’s Buddha and his servants he instead makes clear it’s actually Mandala System on COV that they actually serve.
Lucifer is called Humanity’s Patron by Goko on Chaos as well.
In other words Mastema and Satan are also Buddhas lol.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. Thanks Atlus, now I have to live with the mental image of the devil meditating under a tree

I suppose this is the end result of the Fantasy Kitchen Sink that is SMT. If this was made in the west, Odin and Thor would likewise be angels, or converts I guess.
I mean, yeah, a lot of the world's biggest religions have spread by the sword in addition to by the book, but that's not my point. My point is, Megaten is made by Atlus, a Japanese company. Most of Japan is Buddhist and/or Shinto. The series, despite drawing from a lot of international religions and figures, is always going to manifest those things through the their own cultural and religious lens.
I've joked before that I imagined Lucifer meditating while Mara tries to tempt him away from enlightenment, much like how Mara tried it with Siddhartha.

"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."I beat Shiva two days ago and the Demi-Fiend yesterday. The latter was, expectedly, a lot more difficult. Took me like five or so attempts, and I almost botched it in the end by missing three blows in one round of Omagatoki Critical.
Still managed to drag my body over the finish line, with only Kei and Fallen Abdiel still in my active party.

Also the only reason Bethel knew is due to Yuzuru telling those he trusted he was going to become one, and that implied he told Dazai offscreen.
