Well the 4th definitely requires you to work for it sounds like, and there is a character who dies or not based on specific choices you make.

Sounds like the "Justice" ending is the golden ending for the game then?

So any thoughts on how well this Lucifer fits with the others?

Pretty different. Lucifer’s never been about taking power himself. He always entrusts someone else with it. Definitely Fits with the Paradise Lost theme where he wants to be YHVH 2.0.

Also apparently the Nocturne references are just Neos reaching, so I’m not surprised.

I saw a post claiming that Lucifer apparently goes full Law after claiming the throne. No idea how authentic that claim is, but it's definitely an interesting direction to take.

Well he is a robot now, and Robots = Inorganic = Law is pretty consistent especially in this game.

Even Abdiel is a Living Statue wearing armor made of the same material as her body who becomes more obviously organic when she becomes a fallen Angel, with her demonic head erupting out between her fake head.

Also the Final Boss race is Matter

Alice isn’t Fiend right? Datamined files show she’s right smack dab in the Fiend Race, so they probably planned on her being Fiend originally.

Khonsu has a second form in said datamine so Nahobino form soon.

Second is falcon head Khonsu.

Okay hadn’t checked it so wasn’t sure.

Rpgsite deleted some info that apparently revealed when the 4th route happens. If Nuwa appears alive during the Destroy The Throne after beating Abdiel the 4th Route it unlocks said ending.

On said route Nahobino creates a new world free of Demons and gods, going beyond just destroying the throne so demons can’t control humans.

So the NG+ endings count towards completion rate and aren’t dots. They can only be done due to new quests and areas only available on NG+

So far two are known:

FUSION- V-kun and Aogami decide to fuse together mentally to become a new type of being.

SEPARATION - The two separate willjngly, with Aogami even giving up his oath of protection to V-kun.

After seeing today's Daily Showcase video, I have to ask: do any of the leaks say why Ishtar has eight freaking press turns when you fight her?

We also got the name of the weird monk in the trailers: he's called Goko.

EDIT: Apparently this is the battle theme for the Demi-Fiend. It's a bit different than what the Digital Devil Saga team heard when fighting him.

As DLC. He was announced in one of their News videos.

DLC was in the daramine. Some of it anyways.

Also figured out what Lucifer’s actual goal with all of this with the games opening narration and Paul Eiding voicing Lucifer saying that dialogue Shinichiro Miki says in the trailer.

Lucifer is trying to get humans to eat the fruit of life(Gods) to become Nahobinos. Humans who represent the fruit of knowledge combine the power of Gods who embody the Fruit of Life, then they are the ones who have the power to decide mans fate since said power is now in humanities hands and not the Gods. Tokyo is essentially a Garden of Eden.

This makes even more sense when you hear the narration talk about the serpent tricked humans into eating the fruit to reopen the war between Gods.

I wonder if any of the people playing the game early has done any of the DLC yet. I'm curious as to how tough the DLC demons are.

I'm definitely expecting Demi-Fiend, Cleopatra, and Mephisto to be endgame boss demons at least.

I'm expecting the latter two to be playable, but not Demi-Fiend. Perhaps you meant to say Artemis instead?

Nah, it was just a wrong choice of words; I meant them as bosses rather than playable demons. I edited my post to reflect that.

It’s not clear exactly what’s needed for the 4th Route, but it is confirmed the Egyptian quest line with Khonsu is at least required. This is the only time Miyazu plays a role in the game.

It is believed that the Demeter, Amanozako, Fionn, Shiva superboss quest lines might also be required. They aren’t sure.

So apparently this is the Fiend battle theme. It's definitely trying out something new.

So here’s how the Nahobino works:

All old gods(aka demons) were originally Nahobino

The Old Gods are the fruit of life and knowledge combined.

YHVH steals their knowledge and regressed them into just demons who bear only Life

The stolen knowledge got stored in paradise as the fruit of knowledge

The Serpent made "humans of different worlds” eat them and old god's knowledge got passed down to humans and their descendants, making them more like Gods.

Old gods became obssessed with finding the human that got their knowledge to became Nahobino again.

Agoami was shut down in Daat. MC, his knowledge bearer came and he woke up then fused with him. He literally lucked out unlike Lahmu.

Speaking of Lahmu, I wonder if the choices you have to make in order to save Sahori from death have been found yet. Assuming such choices exist, that is.

An NPC on the map reveals Shohei Yakima’s dad was a cop and died at some point. They reminisce on Shohei.

Edit: Tao has a compendium description as a Goddess. Says she no longer has her original personality.

Also Odin is impressed with Nahobino defeating Abdiel at the Bethel meeting when she attacks him, “God was right to be afraid”.

Edit: An NPC references their school team facing off against a team whose coach is a former medalist. So a reference to Kamoshida and Shujin.

I recently saw a video of the boss fight against Ishtar, and she does not have a disgusting amount of press turns. I'm guessing she's one of those bosses where you have to do some pre-battle work in order to make the fight easier.

Yeah someone fought her with a ton of Press turns complaining about it on smtg
