But then again, They were space nazis, and they took the "nazi" part litteraly because even though they had those cool weapons, they were really bad ones. oh and the leader is a Bitch.
New episode came out and its a bit of a Gainax start: Bridget Getting her ass in all sorrs of different places around the UK due to a Magical portal in a Police box, oresumabky a breather episode from whatever is happening
I AM PREY TO NONE!It's about how a villain is dealt with; building up villains as a big deal only to get stomped by a single character whose identity they couldn't bother to establish is a deeply disappointing turn that becuase it makes the story internally inconsistent. And how the heck did the Sempitemporal Order even have time to be space nazis? Their group only formed a few episodes ago!
I had to force myself to watch Monday's episode. Apparently, we now have a bunch of Erebusians who believe that the invincible One-Man Army Erebusian has proved that Erebusians are the master race, and that they therefore deserve to rule the earth.

Nach jeder Ebbe kommt die Flut.OOC: So perhaps our reactions need to begin veering towards some more positivity. Fully aware though I am that the joke is that the show's currently going downhill with the Erebusians (or whatever they are) hogging up too much screentime, and being an annoying obstacle who just won't away… I feel this is still channeling memories from the real shows, where said villainous scrappies just ruined certain seasons for us, thus flavoring the messages we're making.
A detox, an Author's Saving Throw as it were, is perhaps the play we make… Salvaged Story as it were.
…Wait, hold on, there's a teaser at the end of Monday's episode. Did no one check that? Did I not check that?

Self-professed Wild Card who thinks cynicism isn't so bad.Guys. Was it really that easy? Waiting to just feel this season out? Because Lawrence was busting heads, and it felt refreshing seeing him so jubilant again.
Self-professed Wild Card who thinks cynicism isn't so bad.Okay, had to work up my courage to watch today's episode, simply titled Wake.
The United Kingdom, it seems, is in a bit of a tough spot. The Sempitemporal Order killed a lot of the existing government of the UK when they took over, and then most of the Order died when that one Erebusian decided to one-up Guy Fawkes by actually blowing up parliament. So, some people are trying to re-establish the older government - including trying to figure out who should be the monarch - while you get others trying to establish a new order, like those Scottish separatists.
And then you've got guys like Lawrence, who decided to join the New Barsoom/Cornwall military and help restore order to the country.
Meanwhile, the Erebusian-supremicist group The Children of Erebus has seen a huge influx of members; Erebusians who are both emboldened by the destruction of the Sempitemporal Order and embittered towards the United Kingdom in general. And the Children of Erebus have now declared themselves the rulers of Manchester, with plans to take over the rest of Earth.
How they plan to do that when Erebusians struggle to survive in the Earth's tropical regions has yet to be explained.
But there's a human resistance forming in Manchester, and... they're really not very good people, either. There's some who are scared or worried about the insurrection currently controlling their city, but a lot of them are anti-Erebusian bigots. And two of their lead members are Jacob's long-lost brother Simon Westinghouse - who seems like he really does just want to protect people - and the Black Rabbit, who is still pretending to be Debra.
I've been having trouble coming up with many ideas for this season, and the Sempitemporal Order felt like the best one I'd had in a while. I thought for a little bit about saying, "Oh planet Erebus exploded and all the Erebusians died of plague", but that's a level of spite towards other users here that I think we can all agree should be avoided. Still, I do think some of us should try a little harder to play off other people's posts instead of just trying to do everything ourselves. I know I'll try to do better in that regard. But I don't know what the heck "half the season isn't canon" is supposed to mean.
Nach jeder Ebbe kommt die Flut. That being said, I know I'll seem like a spite-fueled asshole, but I'll say it: seeing those Eberusian asshats pummeled by Sheila (who's BACK 100%, way better and way more Aussie than before), slamming driver golf clubs into their crotches, and seeing Lawrence smack more of them over with baseball bats was absolutely SATISFYING...!!
Like, I'm the optimist fan usually, but I was going to swear this show off for good if those writers didn't start getting the hint to maybe, you know, back off from Eberusian Supremacy. I needed this episode.
We've been following Debra and her gang around for how many years now? This was one of those episodes that felt like a return to form, reminding me of why I fell in love with this show in the first place. That perfect balance is struck, not too serious, not too silly, having heart without being too schmaltzy… all we need now is one of our heroes delivering a Megaton Punch to the season's Arc Villain's face (preferably Debra's delivering the punch), and we'll officially say… that we're so fucking back.
Self-professed Wild Card who thinks cynicism isn't so bad.I'm now caught up on last week's episodes, Manchester, United parts I and II.
These were some really action-heavy episodes. While a lot of the members of the Children of Erebus are Unskilled, but Strong, there were enough who were trained fighters to be a real problem. On the upside, that means we did get to see Jael, Mattias, and Jack take to the battlefield. Jack, in particular, has managed to create his own form of Full-Contact Magic.
And Namaho, the leader of the Children of Erebus, was killed by Cu Chulainn's Gae Bolg. We only see the silhouette, but it was probably not a great way to go. And then, when it looks like there's going to be a massacre of Erebusians by vengeful humans, somebody shows up to restore order: King Arthur!
Can I talk about the show's version of Excalibur for a moment? The sword can cut through almost anything, and the blade can extend to some truly staggering lengths while remaining as easy to wield as its default length. Meanwhile, Excalibur's sheath makes the bearer nearly invulnerable The power of both items, however, only work as long as the bearer is on the island of Great Britain, so they can't exactly be a "we win" button for the heroes if there's a fight anywhere else in the world.
Arthur himself doesn't seem super excited about having to come back from the dead (again, apparently), but he does want to maintain order in his country, and it turns out not many people want to fight him. Order is (mostly) restored.
And then Arthur reveals the bad news: There's a colossal dragon sleeping underneath Wales, and it's about to wake up and devastate the surrounding thousand miles. The Black Rabbit is already making her way to Wales, though we aren't sure exactly what she intends to do. Debra and the Magicologists set off in pursuit.
Apparently, the season finale will be airing on February 13, so I suspect this dragon plot will be leading up to it.
Nach jeder Ebbe kommt die Flut.Feb 13!? Where’s that annual Valentine’s Day episode they do this year?
UPDATE FOR RING RACERS ADDON IS OUT…Oh have you not heard?
The season finale, IS the Valentine's Day episode.
Excuuuuuuse youuuuuu, but there's no official source stating that they're ending after Valentines!
Update: The show's website is gone. Their social media hasn't posted in a day. Maybe you were right after all...
