Three more weeks and the movie is out! i did see some advertisement on 2M (the morrocan television channel), and apperentaky, Fairouz ai is not only going to be involved in the Japanese dub but also in the arab dubbing as well.
There also is a Confused Kaon and a Saint constantine saying "Perish you Heretic" in the advertisement, so theres that...
I AM PREY TO NONE!ever since Brahms lullaby has been released, there has been a influx of Memes going around The fact that the twilight empress is alive and lives in Tonoshō (before she got captured by a Random BSS member), hence this one
IT WASNT MEANT TO GLITCH, what does the text say?:
TE (Twilight empress): having her day in Shodoshima (Where tonoshō is located)
Some random BSS member:
Its time for you to leave
I AM PREY TO NONE!Say it with me, folks (I've had this gripe for a while but since it's elaborated upon in today's episode I'll say it now): JOLENE 👏 IS 👏 NOT 👏 AN 👏 INNOCENT 👏 VICTIM 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Yes, it ABSOLUTELY sucks that Jolene had to be killed just as she was starting to feel remorse for her actions by a control freak autist and his even bigger control freak of a father.
Yes, it is ABSOLUTELY tragic that Orisa joined the search party looking for Jolene only to find her severed head rolling on the streets of Swajiaba.
But you people need to realize that Jolene was stranded on Earth because of the deliberate act of mutiny she committed against her ship's crew, crashing into the side of Daijur mountain so she could revel in the thrill of watching them blow up with the ship. And that she only started to regret her actions once she realized she didn't have a ride home.
Yes, I know that there's still some parts of Jolene's backstory that haven't been fleshed out yet. Maybe the traders she worked with were incredibly abusive, we don't know that yet. What I do know is that I will NOT tolerate the thoughtless woobification of such a morally complex character, dammit!
Don't you ever fix your lips to say that, bruh. I'm sitting right here and I got my daughter in the backseatThe best bet i can think of is the twilight empress Being in Shodoshima is to set some plot for the next episode (Titled "星の悲鳴") which, litteraly, means The Starscream . Considering in the Two previous episode we found out that Gary had been Abusing Max Physically and his health is depleting due to that. it could be in this one He actually finally reaches the point of no return.
I AM PREY TO NONE!I've been thinking about what knowledge we have about Debra's brother, who is set to appear I believe in the next episode. I'm both excited and nervous about our first official transgender rep, and I hope to god the showrunners don't fumble the bag, but I can't help but feel like something's a bit... off about him.
Throughout this season, we've seen Debra pull out that same picture of her family reunion. As we can clearly see, Debra has three brothers and three sisters, and yet Kaede looks NOTHING like any of the people pictured in that photo, not like any of the women, not like any of the men. I have a few theories:
- Kaede is formerly one of Debra's sisters, who transitioned in the time between their last family reunion and Thursday's episode.
- Kaede is one of Debra's brothers, who has been a trans man this whole time and we're only now finding out about it.
- Kaede is a cousin or other non-blood relative of Debra's whom she sees as a brotherly figure.
- Kaede isn't even related to Debra at all, and his presence serves as a red herring to deter Debra from finding one of her actual brothers.
Only time will tell if any of these theories hold any real weight.
Don't you ever fix your lips to say that, bruh. I'm sitting right here and I got my daughter in the backseat![]()
Leslie from the first movie was nonbinary, though the story never really called attention to it. And one of the few things we do know about Leslie's backstory is that "Leslie" actually was their birth name.
I'm also trying to piece together what I know about Debra's family. We've seen a picture of her family, though it's been a while. She has at least two younger brothers, Gideon and Samson, and one older brother she identified at the time as Othniel.
Nach jeder Ebbe kommt die Flut.the episodes came in early.
Apperentaly, its implied that Skaro Saved Kaede from the Chase Some cars (implied to be the Yakuza) did with the Keisatsu cho (the car Fell down a rice hill and was near a cave, FYI) (context: The Subaru Factory he worked for has allegations with the Yakuza, he was there as a witness), via wrapping it in great tangles of hair. further more, Skaro manipulated Kaede's mind to make it think he was unconscious for 30 minutes, when in reality, it was... god knows how long (long enough to be "persumed dead" by the police)
so basically, Skaro is a Good girl. or at least, intervienes herself to save other peoples life
however, i didnt catch up with the rest of the plot...

If she has three brothers, which one was the one she was supposed to be looking for?
Also, I seem to remember a filler episode in the Russia Arc that was banned in the UK? IIRC it was something to do with its use of the term "cider".
EDIT: I was mistaken; it was a First Arc episode. Back when the show was still rated PG.

"Hark! For your greatest fears manifest in yours truly!" (She/Her) (Current focus: Image Pickin')a bilignual bonus at a teaser of the next episode (at a Store in Santiago (Chile)) stated that Gary has bought a suspicious ammount of salt. it was spoken In mapuche, but a Mapuche translator has putted the text there on X

Debra said he missing brother was older... but Kaede and Othniel are different characters, since she actually meets Gideon and Othniel at the Tanabata festival. Gideon is far bigger than either one, which seems to bother both of them.
To go over the other aspects of this episode, that Mii didn't already go over:
Jack feels Alone Among the Couples at the festival, starting to really miss Rachel. But then he catches a glimpse of someone who seems to be Rachel, so he tries following her out of the festival and into the woods. And it turns out it is Rachel. And that's where it turns into a Wham Episode, as Rachel reveals what she's been doing all season: She's actually an alien. And worse, her home planet - one orbiting Vega - is currently being threatened by both the Erebusians and the Neo-Venomians. Her family is calling her back as part of a risky plan that might save their planet. Rachel tells Jack that either they'll be successful, and she'll return to him in a year's time, or she won't return, in which case she asks him to keep moving forward. Jack's devastated, but he can't try telling her to stop when the stakes are that high. And they've parted before under similar circumstances, even if it's never been for this long. Jack wishes her a tearful farewell, and promises her that they'll enjoy the next Tanabata together.
The rookie trio looks like they're doing alright at first, but some existing currents come to a head here: Randy tells Candi that she's in love with her, but Candi is straight. Candi tells Sandy that he's in love with him, but he's not interested in her right now. He and Najimi were planning on meeting at the festival, but she never shows up. All three of them are heartbroken.
The only people we see enjoying the festival without issue are Kanna and Hermes, who have apparently been spending a lot of time together since last season. They're even talking about getting married again, with Kanna claiming that people understand how to make a marriage work better than they did back in the bronze age. Also, Kanna looked good in a yukata-
Then we get the other big reveal: Gary Bedford found out that Najimi has been leaking information. He has his security men take her away, promising to make her into something more useful.
Nach jeder Ebbe kommt die Flut.i dont want to constwnt post here
Guess what? I_love_Rodimus Has posted fanart of Nilas!
for more context: Nilas comes from a 2019 PS 4 game That takes place in Albmi (a Sami outpost, Fun fact: Albmi means "Heaven" in the nordic sami language)
She is the medic of the Outpost, treating the wounds of Other people who live there, and its Sort of close to A major city. so she can offer em Cheaper then the doctors.
her appearance? thats a robotic like suit she is wearing, so that she can get warm in the winter and cold in the summer.
Its stated that Nilas is the first LGBT character since she is Intersex.
my minds a bit rusty about the plot, i do have the game but its been a while since i played it... i guess i can replay it. huh?
I AM PREY TO NONE!Ah, Nilas. Not the first character to be introduced in a video game (Pomare and Neo say hi) but certainly the only one I can think of that hasn't appeared in the show proper, even as a like a background cameo. Which kinda sucks, actually. If she were to actually show up alongside the rest of the Venomian High Command in Venomia proper, I think she would've added a lot to their character dynamic (I'm sure a lot of people would've been grateful if she were there to take screen time away from Arch's yapping).
I wasn't able to play the PS4 game when it first came out in 2019 due to not having the proper hardware, but I managed to score a copy for dirt cheap secondhand around the time Venomia Chronicle came out in 2022. The game is a prequel to the Venomia Arc, as the Venomian Empire scouts the Earth looking for locations to launch their initial attack on humanity. I'm not a big fan of Real-Time Strategy games so the gameplay didn't really do anything for me, but I enjoyed it for what it was.
As for her intersex identity... I'm shocked that there are people who claim she's the series' first queer character that aren't memeing, tbh. As for queer rep that came before her, let's see... Cann's been here from the start, and was revealed to be gay in season two, which also gave us Blanche and Rosalie, our two favorite lesbians, and Timothy, who came out as aroace the season after that... All these LGBTQ+ characters five or so years before Venomia was even a blip in anyone's eye!
Don't you ever fix your lips to say that, bruh. I'm sitting right here and I got my daughter in the backseatreplayed some scenes and What the fuck
Whilethough im a bit happy at some niche native representation (not the first one, since Pomare, but it isnt until the episode that we find out he is half native Polynedian) As Nilas is a Sami too, there were some scenes which definently made me vomit in the first time.
The worm scene, Taira (the antagonist of the game, who is a Venomian) just down right open with being racist towards Samis (hell: she called her a "Mulki" just because her armours represents a Erebusian Medic who studied in the Hatono kyujitsu division), the fact that someone saw a neo-[NUH UH] rally happening near the city and the police not doing anything with it or hell, even the scene in which they find out one of their reindeers is long dead from Chronic waste disease and it isnt until they stumbled upon their rotten corpse!
there also was a scene that i consider heartwarming, a boy got to the outpost due to wanting help from Nilas to treat with a Disease and the city he was in having expensive medicene for it, So what did Nilas do? Give Him the Medicene for free. shows that Despite Silas being the "Grumpy Medic" (because of her depression, as revealed in one of the game dialogue), she's still there to Pet the Dog
(the Dialogue in particular)

Understory is kind of meh for me, but I will give it credit for one thing, and that's how it wrote Arch. According to one of the show's former writers, the initial concept behind Arch was that other species to l might have their own forms of neurodiversity, so that wanted to make a Venomian who was neurodivergent, but in a way that distinct from autism. The writer felt that they'd failed to do that right in the show proper, but I think they did a better job here. Arch really does seem to think a bit differently from everybody else.
It was also funny to see what Capps did to Australia. Terrifying, but funny.
Today's episode was great, too. Iris was freaking out over having destroyed a Fleddie Flazbear's Entertainment Emporium for the first time, and Deborah treats it like a milestone in growing up.
Meanwhile, you have Jack and Sandy. Sandy's wondering why Najimi wants to spend more time with him, why Iris gets so nervous around him, why his arguments with Candi are starting to feel different, and Jack isn't sure whether to be frustrated or envious.
