We agreed
a while back
that a Just for Fun/Trope page might be a bit much and potentially against the spirit of the game (though what that is I'm not entirely sure anymore), especially considering that we're trying to relegate things that are "canon" to only things said in this thread. The document only exists to keep track of things so people don't have to scour the thread for specific things they want to find. Also we're not sure if this counts as a blog or a Roleplay or what so there's that.

Read Pokemon Ultimate Emeraldgot it
This episode was kind of boring imo, but we got some pretty backgrounds, and the interactions between Blanche and Rosalia. They seem like a cute couple.
(insert images of backgrounds)
(insert fanart of Blanche and Rosalia) Here's some fanart I drew of them
https://piportorchic.carrd.co/I saw this fan animatic that put the Venomian High Command over audio from Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. I never realized just how much they reminded me of the Castle Oblivion crew until now.
[Insert fan animation here.]
I think it's fitting that the chose to cast Mordred as Vexen and Xerxes as Marluxia because Vexen thinks he's more powerful than Marluxia while in reality he isn't, much like how Mordred thinks he's stronger than Xerxes just because he has direct control over the Venomian Army's troops.
The cutscene I'm referencing is in this video
at 15:04 (I have no idea how timestamps work on the forums). In the animation, Arch is Axel, Ms. Xipsy is Larxene, Mordred is Vexen and Xerxes is Marluxia.

Don't you ever fix your lips to say that, bruh. I'm sitting right here and I got my daughter in the backseatOh, that animatic was my favorite! Although I think including that scene where Xerxes catches Arch and Mrs. Xipsy violently making out in the uniform closet didn't really match the mood of the rest of it. Although come to think of it, it didn't match the rest of the episode either.
My favorite sci fi enemies are the giant sexy depressed womenThe finale of the Quarters Mini-Arc is now out.
Not only did it confirmed that Ramel is the Archon Priest of Sand but it also revealed something huge in that there was a 14th Archon Priest that quickly became The Unperson due to them committing terrible atrocities. Looking back at it, this isn't very surprising given Luke's comments during that one episode but wow.
BTW, please call me Jake.Which episode was that?
Read Pokemon Ultimate EmeraldLast night I dreamt that there was an official comic series that involved Mordred turning to the Resistance. Huh.

Guys how cool would it be if Super Megaforce had a green ranger...![]()
I bet 20 bucks on the 14th Priest actually being Ramirez. But seriously, as predictable as it would be, it'd explain why he stole D'vorak's journal from the Quarters. Maybe D'vorak's "Preparations For the Night" have some connections to the locations of the remaining Archon Priests.
I don't think the Quarter arc is quite over. Debra and co. still need to get to Ramel after finally getting into the world of the Quarters at the end of the episode. It'll be nice to have a reunion with Jack. The old gang back together again. Though maybe the next episode will cut back to Timothy, Maverick, Reid, and K.A.T.H.Y. for a bit. After all, they still need to find the Water Priest after that cliffhanger.
Also, I'd like to propose we go with a Monday and Friday schedule for episodes. You know, for consistency. It's just a suggestion, though and we can stick with being random.

The episode called "Are You Feeling Lucky?". I feel like the conversion between Luke and Debra that episode is meant to foreshadow the 14th Archon's existence.

Thursday might be better because of the Friday Night Death Slot.

BTW, please call me Jake. It's Thursday which means it's new episode day. Today's episode: "Welcome Back". Congratulations to Pogakure and JustaTorchic. Carmen is indeed the Water Priest. We also got a confirmed name for Athena's mom: Metis. Kind of on the nose but as a Greek Mythology nerd I don't mind.
Also, it turns out Reid and Carmen were Platonic Life-Partners and fellow trolls. Probably why Reid still had a picture of her.
Read Pokemon Ultimate EmeraldI am absolutely loving the dynamic between Reid and Carmen. Their reunion was such a heartwarming moment, and they somehow made water and electricity mix well during that fight against Lobo. Carmen and Maverick had a lot of ship tease this episode, too. I mean, did you see the way Maverick was running his fingers through her hair? There's something going on between those two.
Don't you ever fix your lips to say that, bruh. I'm sitting right here and I got my daughter in the backseatAlso, I went back through "Secrets of the Vault" to see if I could spot every MacGuffin they have in there and here's what I found:
- Dvorak's Journal (obviously).
- Jack's Teddy Bear that he traded to the Quarters back in Season 1 and which prompted the funniest scene in this episode.
- A bottle of Lemonade from the Lemonade arc.
- Dr. Retina's eyepiece.
- Athena's Katana from her early appearances, before she switched to guns (always wondered what happened to that).
- A set of seven orbs that resemble the Dragon Balls (not actually a MacGuffin from the show but it is a neat reference).
- A piece of the Horizon Breaker 1.0.
- A Venomian Mech.
- The Element Cube.
- A script locked in a high security case described as "Something neither Weird nor Wonderful" by the Vault Keeper.
- Louis XVI's Crown (so that's what happened to that plot point).
I'm excited for the next arc and season which might be setting up. The crew gave us hints that the characters who haven't had much to do in the series would get a plot and some extra screentime.
Tommorrow's episode seems to be a calm episode that focuses on another Archon Priest. Not much is known, aside from them having their identity revealed in the next season's first episode.

Working on Sandbox. The Amazing Race TV Tropes Edition.About today's episode, it seems like the previews were misleading as it was less of a calm episode and more like an action-packed episode that involves around a battle between the mysterious Archon with no known name and Ramirez (who was an accomplice of the 14th Archon). Glad they didn't go for a Captain Obvious Reveal route that has Ramirez being the actual 14th Archon, and instead made him a Red Herring.

BTW, please call me Jake.Well they weren't entirely lying. The episode was called "Calm."
Edited by BackSet1 on Dec 13th 2021 at 8:12:08 AM
Read Pokemon Ultimate EmeraldI'm genuinely glad they didn't go down the predictable route by making Ramirez the 14th Archon Priest. The animators did a great job of keeping the unknown priest's face obscured throughout the entire episode, especially during that tense fight scene.
Also is it just me, or is Ramirez a lot hammier this season? Don't get me wrong, he's always been a Cold Ham from the start (and Richard Epcar's performance as him compliments that perfectly), but It's like he's gotten increasingly hammier with each appearance ever since that musical episode.

Don't you ever fix your lips to say that, bruh. I'm sitting right here and I got my daughter in the backseatI've only watched the Venomia arc and part of the Lemonade and Archon's Gate arcs. I'm gonna watch the rest so I'm properly caught up.
The first season/arc is so boring oh my GOD

That might be fun
