The Poe fandom didn't take it well either. I heard one user spent like $500 on bots to try and skew that online poll about who should win.
I'd say check out the first three episodes. That should give you a pretty good idea of the show's premise and tone. It gets less episodic starting in Season 2.
We have a Google doc summing up the show thus far: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1INqrGRkW9r4cT4-Bx5gOjrbmITyAqEjXA2vPngLmoZs/edit
Anyways, I've been having trouble with my computer the last few days. Anybody seen Thursday's episode yet?
I would've done the episode, but I've got writer's block right now.

Nach jeder Ebbe kommt die Flut.Jeez, how do you guys keep up? It's starting to become more complicated than Homestuck.
Inconsistently active.So... apparently, due to IRL complications in some of the writers' lives, read: I'm out of ideas there's no new episode today, like, at all. That does give me some time to recap Thursday's episode, titled "An Artistic Meltdown".
Panjandrum informs Hermes and company that he's sending them off to Greece to capture a criminal notorious for stealing priceless art and artifacts and selling their fakes. When they get to Athens, Horepse offers to let them stay at her place while they look for the guy. She gives them a tour of the house, making sure to let everyone see her massive collection of priceless paintings.
Jon leaves to go... relieve himself. Staring him down is a massive painting of the Pauper King. Upon closer inspection, Jon realizes that this painting is a fake! Every single painting in Horepse's home is a fake! Monika asks Horepse who she bought the paintings from, and she refers them to Kleftis Technis, who peddles his wares at a market every weekend. Just as JUNCTION has Kleftis cornered, a huge sea monster attacks the market, and we get to see some of the other JUNCTION members in combat for the first time.
My favorite scene from this episode has to be when Jon is talking to the painting while he's taking a piss like that'll make it any less awkward:

Don't you ever fix your lips to say that, bruh. I'm sitting right here and I got my daughter in the backseatYes, the same Jon that cleaved a vampire in two with a handaxe is intimidated by a massive counterfeit panting. To be fair, the Pauper King is rumored to have permanently paralyzed people in fear, so I kinda get it.
Don't you ever fix your lips to say that, bruh. I'm sitting right here and I got my daughter in the backseatI don't like potty humor, excpet if your first name is South and your last name is Park.

He has returned, but WHY?Here's an interesting question: What do you guys think is the best example of The Worf Effect in this show? My personal favorite is from Venomia: In one of the early episodes, Ramel, the Resistance's resident tough guy, is facing off against Kapps in battle and doesn't take him seriously because, well, he's Kapps. All of a sudden, he punches Ramel in the chest so hard he coughs up blood, and in that moment the Venomians immediately made themselves known as a group of villains that weren't to be fuck with. Plus, it made for a pretty decent segue into the more serious Venomia arc from the Denser and Wackier Lemonade arc.
Don't you ever fix your lips to say that, bruh. I'm sitting right here and I got my daughter in the backseatI'm gonna go with the opening of Nightfall Pt I, when the group of civilians is getting picked off by a Vampire until Debra shows up and punches her through a car. Really great show of both how strong the Vampires are and how strong our heroes have become.
I couldn't think of anything to put here but not having one makes me look like a noobTrue. The Russia arc is such a prime example of Cerebus Syndrome. I don't think I've ever seen a show before or since take a more drastic turn from episodic, goofy, monster-of-the-week nonsense to arc-driven, high-stakes Anyone Can Die shit. Usually, the shows that make that shift are story-driven from the get-go.
Also, I've updated the "Role Association page" to cover the Angelbreaker arc and season 8 so far. I'm still working on Archon's Gate, but I think what I've written for it is a bit too bulky.

Don't you ever fix your lips to say that, bruh. I'm sitting right here and I got my daughter in the backseatSo, you guys watched the last episode, right? The one where everyone fought that sea monster in Athens? If you were paying attention, you'd notice that Lysithea was nowhere to be seen. Where did she go? Thanks to Thursday's episode, "Long Train Running", we finally have an answer.
Hakim tells Jack that in order to find the Tome, he needs to collect more Orator Stones. Jack - accompanied by Lysithea, Rachel and Cann - boards a train headed for Dublin, Ireland to find the headquarters of "Mirai Industries" and meet with a guy who can point them in the right direction. Things on board the train are going pretty well...
...Until Jack and co. are intercepted by none other than JUNCTION's tactician, Ovi, who immediately tears into Cann for being an ungrateful piece of shit, apparently. Ovi refuses to accept the fact that Cann couldn't control his actions as the Knight, and challenges him to a duel on top of the moving train. I swear, the CGI in this show is getting better and better. Now that I've watched this far, I wouldn't mind if they made the leap into full 3D, so long as the show keeps this art style.
Don't you ever fix your lips to say that, bruh. I'm sitting right here and I got my daughter in the backseatMan Ovi got his ass whooped in that battle. His mutations did nothing.
His ass deserves it after beating the living hell out of Debra over her forgetting his fries. Like dam, he has some serious anger issues. I'm not surprised if the writers are trying to write IED.
Checking in on this account after leaving the site, MAN that is a cringy forum post history. Daaamn. Never again.

Oh, yeah. I forgot to mention that in my summary earlier, but they revealed that back in Ladies on the Strand; Nero won. Poe didn't take it well.
