So I took advice from this
post. I checked it out, and a spectrogram of the end lead to a pre-ordering site. It doesn't have anything yet, but... I think we know when it will.

Praise the Lamb!...Well, this is unexpected. I was unaware that the show had such a big fandom over here.
I was actually one of the storyboard animators back in season 1 (I even worked on... THAT
scene in episode 7), although these days I'm not attached to the project anymore. That said, I still watch the new episodes as they come out, and I'd love to speculate with y'all. :3
So, I've known about this show for a while now, but I've never watched it. Since my favorite tabletop game is having a crossover with the show soon, I thought now was as good a time as any to start binging it. Any tips on how I can best approach this?

^^ I may be biased here, but season 1 is underrated AF. There are a lot of quaint little character moments, plus there are several callbacks to season 1 in later seasons and, while those aren't essential to your enjoyment, I'd still recommend giving season 1 a try. That said, If you really don't vibe with the first three-ish episodes, then the season probably isn't for you and I'd recommend skipping to season 2.

I mean, yeah I'm all for watching everything but in the end Season 1 barely contributes anything and Season 2 makes a point of reintroducing all the characters and concepts so its not necessary for viewing.
Read Pokemon Ultimate EmeraldI guess it’s skippable in the same way It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia season 1 is, or even Community season 4.
Season 1 is worth watching just for how utterly weird the show got back then. Just as an example: there was an episode that played out like one of those "Lost Episode" Creepypastas about the show. It's hard not to love the sheer creativity it showed.
Season 1 also introduced Giuliana, who's a pretty important character to the current arc of the show.
Nach jeder Ebbe kommt die Flut.Whenever I read the YMMV page(s?) for this show and look at how negatively the cult arc is seen, I'm always a bit weirded out. They seemed to have been written when it was still airing, which was... about 2015, I believe?
While more people are more vocal about how they enjoyed the arc nowadays, it's still a very sloppily-written story arc with ungodly pacing issues that only began the fanbase's division (along with Grand Tower) and killed off the first part of the story, forcing the show to go through a Soft Reboot. I imagine some of the love comes from some people disliking how the series is turning out currently and arcs like Grand Tower and Venomia being put in a more critical eye nowadays.

"She is a girl" - THE HAMLET GLUTTON![]()
Yeah, I'm not denying that. From what I've observed, even its most staunchest defenders won't deny its biggest flaws (extremely inconsistent pacing, forgettable characters and story arcs, the more out-there redesigns, etc), but there are actual enjoyers of the arc nonetheless.
(I'm still convinced that like 65% of the cult arc fans only like it to be contrarian honestly)

"She is a girl" - THE HAMLET GLUTTON

I'm just hoping the crossover between that game, whatever its name was I forget, goes well...
Best advice I ever got? Keep repeating the joke till everyone is forced to laugh.
