It was probably denied because you're not allowed to have more than one account. See Administrivia.Get Known for more info on that.
But anyway, no, there isn't a way to change your name other than creating a new account. If you want the new account to be approved, you'll have to send one of the moderators a message about what you're doing, and I think I would wait for a response before attempting to create a new account a second time.

It turns out that my account was denied because I was using a backup email. I'll try contacting the mod team this time.
I believe the name of the account I tried to create was Magnificent Lychee.

Hello here, I come for the same request. I have no F***ing idea how my username get to be Grotesque Yak 5 year ago but my pseudoname everywhere is Eroking. and everywere like even on my Uber app! and one day tatoued on my back lol

As said before, we do not support changing usernames. You must create a new account and notify us of the name so we don't block it.
