I added an example to the draft of Kids Hate Vegetables, later after the trope launched and the example(s) added got crosswicked to the respective work pages, I notice among the pages that BoBoiBoy is indexed in is the trope's page itself, and many, if not all, work pages that are on-page examples are indexed the same way as well.

What puzzles me is that I can't find any index tags in the trope page's markup which I thought would make it act this way. I would like to inquire how to fix this please, I've had a look at How Indexing Works but I'm still stuck.

I've solved the issue by changing the page type to "contributor" and then back to "trope".
