10/10, no notes, i love it i love it i love it i love it i love it
Welcome, my little friend! Or should I say...friends?
8/10. It's really cool, realism be damned.
Fjón þvæ ég af mér fjanda minna rán og reiði ríkra manna.
8/10. Really bizarre, but can sometimes be effective in teaching a lesson.
Aesop Amnesia I sadly doubt he would like Popeyes, though...
9/10, it's a great and versatile character flaw. The best ones are the depressing ones.
The legend has returned.5/10 - haven’t read the Original Christmas Carol and only bits of of adaptations of it, but they can be creative sometimes.

♫ we’re so miserable and stunning ♫ - fall out boy8.5/10. A rare, but incredibly unique form of Cloudcuckoolander.
Heel–Face Door-Slam Orcus on His Throne will always be my pet peeve.
4/10 To be honest, I find it depressing. If a work is going to use this trope, there had better be a strong lesson or message that depends on its use
And Your Reward Is Clothes Very good kitty
6/10. Not the best reward, but I do enjoy a new outfit.

Déjà vu, tell you what I'm gonna do, when they reminisce over you, my God7.5/10. Very silly + can be a source of stakes.
Unskilled, but Strong I sadly doubt he would like Popeyes, though...
6/10
I prefer Skilled And Strong, but this trope fits Boisterous Bruisers (which I like) well, and it can make a good contrast with a more skillful character.
Just a simple man, making my way through the Tropes.8.5/10. For some reason, I always liked this trope as a thinkpiece more than anything.
It Amused Me Orcus on His Throne will always be my pet peeve.
5/10. Can be annoying when the person who did it is an unlikable character.
It's All About Me I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!
7/10. Can be used to effectively establish how unlikeable a person can be.
Cloning Splits Attributes.
7.5/10. How it creates conflict is up for debate, but it does show the individual aspects of a character really well.
Lust Orcus on His Throne will always be my pet peeve.
6/10 I prefer to not have sin, thank you.
Too Incompetent to Operate a Blanket I'm much too lazy to come up with a caption.
4/10. It can be funny, but I prefer villains to actually be a credible threat.
Everybody Was Kung-Fu Fighting
Fjón þvæ ég af mér fjanda minna rán og reiði ríkra manna.Unrated: This trope is not what I'd necessarily deem a ratable narrative construct, but rather an observation to be made.
Tropes Are Flexible. That is just a given at this point, we all know this, and hell, the presence of tropes will inevitably indicate the existence of other tropes that are similarly present. Tropes synergize with tropes (hence "Trope Synergy"), and tropes can flavor each other to make the combinations that we see before us. Make some very colorful trope combinations, and watch the narrative potential explode before your very eyes… and this is DOUBLY true for character tropes.
So why do I say all of this? Why do I bring attention to this aspect we tropers all know to be true? Because sometimes, the wrong combinations can lead to situations… like THIS guy/gal.
The Nominal Hero. The protagonist who serves as the force of good by technicality, and technicality alone. Absolutely not a problem at all if they're SUPPOSED to be vile… but if they aren't supposed to be vile, if we're supposed to like them (or unless the world they inhabit really IS just that bad)… you wind up with the Nominal Hero designation. A designation that does the rating for us.
Theme Music Power-Up Self-professed Wild Card who thinks cynicism isn't so bad.
6.5/10. I've had experience with being this trope, but it also helps to actually convey the fact that it's meant be innocent, otherwise the character comes off as Unintentionally Unsympathetic.
Spaghetti Western Orcus on His Throne will always be my pet peeve.

6.5/10. Kind of a hard trope to judge without seeing its implementation in a work.
Lovable Jock Orcus on His Throne will always be my pet peeve.
