I saw the first two episodes of this show so far and I already love it. ![]()

Yukimaru just hitting everyone who happens to talk a bit much takes a little bit out of his antics but also Fena should kick him in the gut at least once in retaliation for his shenanigans. He's also stupid, despite his severe face (lol at his ears going red when she touched his hand, didn't y'all just run holding hands). That said, kind of interesting how he was the only one seriously worried about Fena when she didn't come back. You'd think the entire group would be a bit more concerned with were she was since she's a non combatant. These guys just get more and more shady.
Fena's hair from the start till now still looks more light blonde than white to me, so whenever they call her hair white it feels distracting. I like her hair, but I wish she had kept the large black pirate hat lol. It's also super cute seeing the twins dress her up, it reminds me Ouran. That being said, I just realized that they have earrings on different ears. Her dynamic with the twins in general is way cuter than me, she should change love interests lol. Them throwing all three of them overboard was just hilarious LOL.
Her happening to stumble on a clue was a bit contrived though. And who are you mysterious shota who appeared in the op and speaks in cryptic words...and who are you, Schienzel looking pretty boy who thinks about Fena right after bangi- chotto, these two bang?
Overall, still a fun episode!

I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysNice to know that Yukimaru doesn't limit his head bashing to just Fena, and nice to see he's not the only one who does it. The guy who was trying to organize everything and losing his temper all episode was my favorite.
Also, while it was fun to see the three airheads goofing off, it was also nice that they aren't totally without wits. It was cool how one of the twins noticed Fena was getting eyeballed by a lot of unsavory characters and so got her something to cover her hair first before anything else under the guise of outfit shopping.
Got dark at the end though. While Fena and the Twins getting thrown overboard was played for laughs, the bad guy getting the same treatment wasn't. Execution via drowning is a horrible way to go.
Also, one of the pirate girls has a French accent.

Wondering if that dude at the end is possibly a relative of Fena?
Man I felt sorry for the Only Sane Man just trying to get their supply run in order. He’s the true MVP.
Alright the show has a wikipedia page, lets see that......
Ha the group's name is Samurai Seven, nice.
Okay yeah Shitan is the pretty boy archer, Karin's the girl, Enju is the elder dependable twin while Kaede is the (self-admitted) manlier twin, Tsubaki is the only sane man & actually eldest of the group, and the big guy is Makaba.
Also Yukimaru is apparently the leader.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Episode 4 was fun. Shitan is such a bro. Fena being awkward is amusing. And while I can't say I like Yukimaru, I like him better when he isn't acting all Sasuke. In fact, that everyone else got on board with teaching her their respective fighting style was cool, but it was sweet to see that Yukimaru was there with moral support by making her some post-practice snacks.
I can't tell if the twins were trolling Fena, just being dweebs, or both with all their commentary about the subtle flirting the blonde chick was doing with Yukimaru.
Not a whole lot of plot advancement going on here, but we got pointed in a new directions and an interesting revelation about Joan of Arc commissioning the stone after her death. Mostly character building for Fena and some fleshing out of the rest of the cast, particular Shitan, which I very much enjoyed.
Favorite moment: Fena accidently butting Karin in the nose with a rifle from the recoil after she fired it.
This episode was the weakest yet. I feel like I'm watching an old anime and skipped the 5 episodes of episodic character building just to get to the good part and these people are so damn awful at keeping tabs on Fena it's getting ridiculous. Like yeah the chief doesn't care about her as a person, but Yukimaru has been established since the start to be an overprotective moron, why Wouldn't he hold on to her when she's been acting weird
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysYeah somehow this elite squad of ninja warriors fail to notice her walking away just so Fena becomes the Damsel in Distress.
Very much a breather episode today.
And now I'm really curious how much truth there is to this witch accusation. Shitan's been dropping a line here and there for a while now, but this was the most open confirmation that the people up the chain of command think Fena can magically ensnare people's hearts. A regular point of discussion with the story is people taking issue with how quickly all the Goblin Knights just became buddies with Fena, with little shown to indicate a growing relationship. And now it seems there's an ulterior reason for that. Is it true? Is it just a rumor?
If it is, then we know that Fena obviously isn't doing it intentionally. At the same time though, as sweet as that scene with Yukimaru and Fena on the rooftop was, it does raise some interesting questions about his very overt feelings towards her.
I mean I certainly didn't get the sense that there's anything to the witch story. Like it sounds like Fena's father married a woman who was considered 'beneath him' and then superstitious assholes went on to blame her for everything bad that happened afterwards.
Like I mean if they really thought Fena had some kind of passive mind control ability they'd have been a bit more cautious about this. They were specifically concerned about how she could affect Yukimaru, not any of the others. They're looking at it as a magically-assisted-seduction thing, not a 'make everyone like you' aura.

I saw a couple of people asking for a thread on Fena: Pirate Princess so here we are. New series about a pirate who is also a princess or is princess of the pirates, haven't read any of the spoilers yet or watched the episodes on Crunchyroll. It's certainly not the first work I've seen on the topic: http://www.skjam.com/2015/04/11/book-review-the-pirate-princess/
and I was a bit disappointed this apparently isn't an NHK kidlit adaptation.
As always mark your spoilers correctly for latecomers. Thanks! Enjoy the discussion!
