I support this cleanup. "(X) shows up as a main character" is definitely not indexworthy. What is indexworthy is how the subject has something to do with the plot.
Also, I might want to bring in RockRaider and Ghostfreak45, since they had been making some of these pages lately.

Working on Sandbox. The Amazing Race TV Tropes Edition. To start, let’s look at the one easiest to define, Kaiju Works.
This one’s easy, we’ll define it as a story where Kaiju are the focus of the narrative, and Rent-a-Zilla is not at play, the only one that I can safely say to remove is The Suicide Squad, since that film has loads of other things in unambiguous spotlight, and the Kaiju is just along for the ride.
SKREEEEEEEONK!I just removed The Suicide Squad from Kaiju Works. What next?

I created this index
about works that prominently feature characters with Down syndrome. I figured something like this would eventually be created since specific disabilities, animals, fictional concepts such as time travel, and mythical creatures are the most common theme for these indexes. I then thought about if these index would eventually cause problems, so I put the TLP draft up for grabs in case anybody else wanted to make something out of it.
I apologize for doing this and realize that was a bad move on my part. We could discard the draft if you’d like.
Driving in Albuquerque is like driving on Rainbow Road in Mario Kart.
- Such as?
Well, there's this one from the TLP:

I feel like "animated skeletons appear" is too broad and generic a descriptor to draw a connection between works that otherwise have nothing to do with each other.
Made a comment. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/discussion.php?id=s3wuyrcny5wjd0gmabux7rz9#comment-l36150b7383f0cc
Thoughts?

- Yes, which is why I'm advocating a Undead Stories draft instead.
After looking over both this thread and the Skeleton Stories draft, I think I might understand the issue a bit better. I'll use vampires as an example. With most vampire stories, there's multiple connecting threads/tropes (bloodsucking [or lack thereof], immortality, focus on biting and fangs, their myriad weaknesses, etc.) beyond just having one or more vampires as the main characters. As such, I think an important distinguisher that needs to be added to both present and future works pages is the use of a minimum number of subject-specific tropes (ex: Vampire Tropes for vampires) in addition to the main character requirement.

Here’s a problem I’ve noticed across the Wiki, but it’s never really brought up until now.
The big issue with the Works by Subject indexes is that they almost never have set standards as to what constitutes the subject, “(X) shows up in a major role” is the answer currently given, which doesn’t really benefit the wiki, since subject matter is a hard subject to define, and it can get really stretchy sometimes as far as misuse is concerned.
SKREEEEEEEONK!
