So I've basically been a lurker for a long time here, so I'm not entirely sure about how acceptable it is for a fanfic writer to add or remove a trope from their fanfic page. Like for the longest time, I avoided making a page myself because I was unsure, but recently someone else went ahead and made one for me, and so far the only changes I've done was just a little sentence cleanup and making examples a bit more specific.

In case anyone needs to know what it is, it's https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Fanfic/UltramanHeroAcademia. The most that I understand is that I won't be able to make YMMV pages like... YMMV, or the Funny/Awesome/Heartwarming Moment ones. Would I be able to help make a Character Page?

Yes, a Characters/ page is a subpage to a work article. No-one can add reactions/moment tropes to a Characters/ subpage.

Alright, so I can add tropes to the main and character pages? What about a Trivia page and tropes, like Word of God?

The policy is described on Auto-Erotic Troping. Trivia entries cannot cite your edits, although you can add them if you are using references you've made publicly available (such as forum posts or tweets).

Alright, that makes sense. So any other sort of thing I should be aware of when adding tropes or removing tropes? Like could I remove tropes that I think are extraneous or aren't the right one?

Yes, or replace them with the correct ones.
