Kate's plan is moving smoothly and with advantage to her and Emilyko along with her allies. The next part is to tell Oliver, but it seems that this won't be easy...

At last, things get spicier as Kate and Emilyko head to the Research Team lab. There, they discover Oliver and Ollie, who made themselves a polygraph-like contraption. Kate and Emilyko try it out ... and unknowningly fall into Oliver and Ollie's trap!! I wonder if anyone saw that coming...

LET'S GO EMILYKO!!! Foil the mad scientists!!

AND KATE with the trump card to defeat Oliver and Ollie!!
Finally catching up myself. Wow, you know it's bad when it comes to this series, but Sara and Mia's relationship is so fucked.

Although it is the interesting kind of messed up!
The development with secrets getting revealed to the Research Team in 132 feels pretty big to me.
Unless things change up quite a lot, it feels like to me that secret getting out would set in motion an endgame of the series, or at least a big status quo shake up.

Yeah. I'm expecting that we still have at least another 1/3 of the series to go, given that we've seen other third-floor Shadows (and Grandfather too, of course). I doubt that the series will ever go full battle manga, hopefully, but that's still a lot of older Shadows to deal with.
The Star Bearers will be good to have on their side, but the adults don't respect them anymore and neither do the children, so they're not going to solve the issue on their own. So far they're still in a position where the older Shadows could purge the children's wing, admittedly losing several years of promising recruits, but otherwise maintaining order.

The new chapter opens us up for some shenanigans with Ricky off somewhere away from Patrick, following up on what I presume will be flashbacked to where he told Patrick he had something to report on; and Patrick managing to be completely obvious about his feelings for Emilyko despite not having visible facial features. While I doubt that Emilyko will pick up on it that fast, someone else might, especially if Ricky comes back around now.
It's been fun.
I can already imagine how that scene with Oliver and Ollie profusely apologizing would end up in the anime (if it ever does end up in the anime, though likely not in the upcoming season). Also, yeah, I wonder what's up with Patrick and Ricky and how they got to this...

Focus: Ricky and his relationship with Patrick with the backdrop of Barbara getting another seizure... It ends with Ricky and Patrick's relationship healed, and Barbie at Ricky's door... For what...?
Chapter 136:
First, Barbie and Ricky, with the latter showing the former about the flower from the last chapter. Insert suspicions and Ricky telling Barbie about what had happened between him and Patrick here before the end of the segment with Barbie with an aching head. Then, we find out why Barbara has been having these seizures: it seems it was Thomas's idea, for he knew that Barbara's head was cracked, so he seemed to get her to drink poison guised as medecine...
Chapter 137:
Barbie, hun, you are not garbage! It's just that the adults have sorta rigged this against ya!
When she finds out, she's gonna blow the House down to its foundations.

S2E2: It is kind of sad that the horrors of the House are catching up to Emilico. Poor thing is scared. Thankfully Kate has a good head on her shoulders. Her secret message to Shaun was smartly hidden, and she managed to deduce how the brainwashing works.
Chapter 138:
The 2nd Gathering of Roses, this time with Oliver & Ollie on Kate's side. We got a contender for shipping and all the stories so far coalesced into enough info to advance to the next part: stopping the hunt on the powerless!
S2E3: Any bets that Christopher is the mysterious hooded figure that can control scorches?
I was so glad when Kate tripped up those twins. They were jerks. Wonder who forced their living dolls to smash the coffee jars. Possibly the hooded figure too?
Poor Maryrose seems destined to unleash scorches on everyone. Bad for her but we get a fun and chaotic cleaning session out of it. Emilico really kicked butt with that giant vacuum! She really is amazingly athletic. Ollie deserves credit for building that thing too.
Shaun and Nancy got jealous over Olly and Emilico beaming at each other, haha.
The knock on the head seems to have broken Ricky and Lou out of their brainwashing. And there's also no coffee for the rest of the week. Perfect time to shake things up.
S2E4: That water treatment is more like water torture, sheesh.
As expected the Star Bearers pin the blame on the twins, and try to do the same to Kate, but thankfully Kate unleashes her battle aura to shut them up and instead gets the opportunity to earn some cred.
Next episode is going to be a blast. Hopefully not literally, what with best boy John and Shaun, Kate and Emilico, and the research team all in one cabin/laboratory.
Small detail, but I really appreciated seeing just how bad Emilyko is at even pretending to be angry.

S2E5: I love that Oliver immediately tested Emilico’s physical prowess. The amazing “super living doll”, Emilico! It warms my heart to see Emilico just having a good time. Even as a guinea pig. I knew I was going to adore this episode. Kate and John even get keys which will really help with their investigation.
Kate suspects that Christopher is also the Hooded Man, which now makes me suspect it’s a red herring.
Chapter 139 & 140:
And Kate has gotten the Disciplinary Team in one!! Looks like Douglas is at the end of the rope... Then, Gilbert enters the scene...
