Gunner, Heat, PC - Official page
With Gunner, HEAT, PC! we aim to make that dream a reality.
No more staring at locked MB Ts in your progression tree and wondering if you'll ever get to play them. No more spending industry prices to buy industry simulators just for a taste of something worthy. We're making a great tank game because that's what we want to play.
This is very much a game for fans of hardcore armored vehicle combat simulations. While it plays quite a bit like the Simulation mode in War Thunder, HGPC is even more realistic in that you can't repair your vehicles or replace crew members once damaged, loading rounds out from storage into the ready rack takes time and disables your turret during the process, and certain tanks have rangefinders and stabilizers. Even turning your turret is a bit more involved - you need to hold down the right click mouse button in order to rotate, unlike Wo T or WH.
Of special note is the voicework for the tank crews. You have usual expected barks and call-outs, but that can change if the crew is put into a situation where they feel in over their heads. Take a listen to the video below to see what I'm talking about.
Don't expect a triple-AAA product though. GHPC's team is rather more on the indie side, and we probably won't see an open release until sometime next year, if even that. Good news is a free demo is available to download on their website, so give it a try if the game interests you!
