Needs Help: Famous Last Words

Cull the ZC Es. The rare example with context can go in a relevant Last Words subtrope, or into a Sandbox.Meaningful Last Words Examples or something.

That is outside of the scope of this thread.

Indexes are not supposed to be used as tropes; that doesn't need TRS to be dewicked.

FamousLastWords.Attack On Titan was cutlisted with the reason “ Famous Last Words is being dewicked as per TRS. The trope is no more on the grounds that it is extremely poorly defined and almost nothing but Zero Context Examples. Attack on Titan has a whole page dedicated to the trope.”

I’m not sure if that was the consensus.

Saw a case or two where the line was wicked when there's nothing stated about the person saying it dying.

Treating it like a sinkhole.

What do we do if it's used in a sentence? Such as:

A combination of this and Tear Jerker: Steve Martin died as he lived: reporting news even in the face of danger. One of the chapter prefaces is a transcript of his Famous Last Words (which are similar to his signing off in Godzilla: King of the Monsters as Godzilla approaches the building he's in to destroy it) as a tsunami caused by Second Impact comes bearing on his position.

Just change it to last words without a pothole.

Regarding the Steve Martin example, I don't know what "this" refers to because it's "this example is an example"-type Word Cruft, but Tear Jerker is NRLEP.
