Well Freeze-Frame Bonus shows that whoever attacked Krypton turned it’s sun red. Since it is just confrimed that Kryptonians are weak against red sun in this continuity as well that should take care of that problem.
With the setup of "an enemy we couldn't defeat", which really seems to be Apokolips, my guess is that General Zod had the Kryptonians try to invade Apokolips, only for Darkseid to do his thing and retaliate in ridiculously disproportionate nature by blowing up Krypton and killing as many Kryptonians as he could.
Could be any of the Green Lanterns, though I will say, reimagining them as space martial arts monks is a facinating idea.
As for your previous question: it was in Voltron: Legendary Defender, only it wasn't snow, it was spores with a distress signal in them.
Just watched the episode. Oh God, poor Kara.
Brainiac's voice reminds me of HAL 3000 for some reason.

When we're done, there won't be anything left.So the Kryptonian's were less like Viltrumite's and more like Dalek's. With an Omnicidal Maniac Absolute Xenophobe view of 'wipe out any life that is not our own.
Assuming Braniac's modus operandi is how the empire worked in the old days.
Bow to the Prototype
I’m wondering how much of Invincible seeped into the final product now.

No kidding. The therapist is gonna have to do overtime to deal with that nightmare of a backstory.
Also, how recent do we think the season 3 order was given compared to when it was announced?

You’re Gonna Carry That Weight.I did look up those leaks people talked about, and unless it was a different page that I missed, the show bible does not say the AI copy of Superman's mom was the kryptonian Warrior. It states the copy is 'created to torture superman', implying that she would only be created during the events of the show.
That, combined with the concept art they showed, makes me think Kara being the warrior was always the intent and not a change.

So you are saying we can still get evil AI Lara? I am for it, it’s long overdue for Superman to meet Virtual Ghost of his mother, even if circumstances are not exactly what one would call ideal.
That note, did anybody get a feeling like Clark’s characterisation in this episode was answer to complains about him being to much of doormat “Two Lanes Diverged”. Like I know that pipeline of animation production makes is imposible, but there is something about Clark’s more snarky and determined attitude when rejecting to Kara’s requests to join her and Brainiac and claims that Earth made him soft that feels like it’s written in response to these complains.

I am curious if Darkseid will be given the Adaptational Heroism treatment? Given the kryptonians are shown to be downright genocidal.
For as evil as Darkseid is, he's not really the destroy everything type. As the God of Tyranny, he desires to bend everything under his boot. So he would disapprove of Brainiac's methods because it leaves no slaves to rule.
Also lotta cameos here though not in the best shape for these characters especially for the Green Lanterns. Which keep in mind a Parademon was included despite the implication that it was Apokolips that defeated the Kryptonian Empire and I doubt Brainiac with his one teenage Kryptonian could defeat them. So hopefully it means the Corps wasn't wiped out but probably a sector at least.
The Hawks though thats a lot tricky with Thanagar apparently being destroyed entirely, unless we do the Egyptian origin so they crashed on Earth centuries ago and avoided the genocide of their race.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yeah that's been a thing since post criss.. In fact Kandor the city had a massive racism issue as the citizens sincerly believed all other alien life ks inferior.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."So Brainiac is more interested in conquest than data and intelligence this time around? Is that a thing they’ve done before?
You’re Gonna Carry That Weight."I went back and watched the last scene of Season 1. It looks like the guy Brainiac talks to outranks him, so I don't think it's Kara at all. And since that person has one line, and that one line involves talking about kneeling, I think it's Zod. And based on this episode, I don't think Kara has ever met him."
That was never the vibe I got, even back with just season 1 it seemed like Braniac was just getting one of his warriors to deal with a situation, rather then reporting to a superior. Season 2 just seems to confirm it. And Kara has also said the 'kneel' line.
Bow to the PrototypeOkay, the key thing is when Brainiac says to the other guy, "I found a new planet for you." That sounds like he found planet for his boss, but I guess if Brainiac is a "hands off" kind of guy and Kara is the one who does the conquering, that could also make sense.

1. Jimmy
2. Lois
Spoilering the rest to not reveal how many were confirmed by sources.
3. Monsieur Mala
4. Brain
5. Livewire
6. Heatwave
7. Mist
8. Silver Banshee
9. Rough House
10. Dr. Irons in his new Steel suit
11. Steve Lombard, because I bet he knows a guy that Jimmy can sink money into to be helpful. Maybe even the one who gets them contact with the villains
Those are my guesses.
