A few things to note:
- Vanitas is from the creator of PandoraHearts
- The Getter Robo listing should more properly be Getter Robo Arc, an adaption of the last manga, that I'm not sure any of the anime actually lead into
- Similarly, The Irregular at Magic High School is actually The Honor Student at Magic High School, a retelling of the early series from Miyuki's point of view
- Kageki Shoujo has nothing to do with Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight
- Big season for Cool-Kyou Shinsha:
- Maidragon S2
- Did the art for the serialization of Idaten
- Story by the Interspecies Reviewers guy
- Original webcomic of Peach Boy Riverside
- Know your isekai:
- Million Lives and Bakarina are established
- Banished from the Hero's Party and How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom are both "dude builds a community" stories. They also both have their own questionable plot element that's known to alienate readers
- Okay, Banished from the Hero's Party isn't technically isekai, but it is using the standard world setting
- Drugstore In Another World and The Dungeon Of Black Company are both comedies. Black Company seems to be better regarded, and is certainly less problematic
- Seirei Gensouki and The World's Finest Assassin both try to do something a bit different, but are ultimately your typical power fantasy fare
i'm gonna continue to watch Slime Tensei season 2 and i have yet to watch Bakarina and Million Lives, but i don't know enough about the others to interest me
it's already painful waiting for Re:Zero season 3

While the premise makes it sound like a time travel drama, what I read of it was mostly about working on a creative endeavor. Also, harem antics
The Case Study of Vanitas
Coming to us from the creator of PandoraHearts. So, this is in line with an oddly specific set of recurring tropes: Gothic aesthetic, homoerotic subtext, shounen storytelling sensibilities. From what I've seen of it, it leans toward lighter side of this particular microgenre
D_Cide Traumerei
Related to a mobage, but apparently telling a largely unrelated story. And the writer's done some good work before (Arjuna and Noein, among others), so maybe this'll turn out well
The Detective Is Already Dead
Not by NisiOisiN, but sure feels like it is. Quirky characters, clever dialogue, and open genre commentary
Deatte 5-byou de Battle
Death game with superpowers. Definitely feels like it's aimed at teen boys. The main character is super-awesome because he treats real life like a videogame, for instance
Drugstore in Another World: The Slow Life of a Cheat Pharmacist
More of a comedy than anything. I wasn't particularly impressed by it. Also has some noticeably problematic elements, like the main girl being a loli with a slave mentality, and an elf that exists for gay panic jokes
The Duke of Death and His Maid
Feels like onee-shota, but I think they're actually around the same age. Anyway, it's a fanservicey comedy, but it's 3DCG, so I'm not sure how much of a point there is
Getter Robo Arc
So, this is adapting the last Getter Robo manga. I don't believe any of the previous anime in the franchise have lead up to this point, but what I read of the manga was reasonably possible to jump into. Plot's mostly a vehicle for spectacle, anyway. Uh, more concerning is that the manga is unfinished, at two volumes, so they're going to have to make a lot of stuff up
Girlfriend Girlfriend
More of a comedy about a harem than a harem comedy itself. Very similar in style and tone to the mangaka's previous works (Aho-Girl, Doujin Work, etc)
Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi
Originally a webcomic, and it retains a definite underground vibe when officially serialized—Quirky, oddly structured, and occasionally prone to really fucked up shit
How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom
Nation-building/politics. Generally considered to be pretty good at this. ...It's also a harem, and not generally considered to be good at it
The Honor Student at Magic High School
You know how some light novels have spinoffs about a popular female character's adventures when the original protagonist isn't around? Yeah, this isn't that. It covers mostly the same territory as the actual books. Fans consider the main value to be how it fleshes out some side characters
The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!
It's a cringe comedy. I don't care for it, but it's apparently quite popular
This is going to be two cours long, which is confusing since they only have enough material for a bit over one
Kageki Shoujo!!
Entirely unrelated to Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight. I mean, beyond the Takarazuka school setting
So, this is a josei drama. Dark but grounded, not too shouty
Life Lessons with Uramichi-Oniisan
Starts out emphasizing the Subverted Kids' Show aspect, but pretty quickly pivots more to a cynical Work Com
Love Live! Superstar!!
Nijigasaki is getting a sequel next year, so I guess we've got two Love Lives going simultaneously. Anyway, this one looks to be changing up the formula a bit (five girls! All first-years!), but has the staff of the original series
Megami-ryou no Ryoubo-kun
Technically onee-shota, but plays out much like any other harem comedy. The girls are named after goddesses, but I don't think there's actually any fantasy elements?
Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S
The original director died in the fire, but the replacement director has a pretty good track record. Uh, so I really disliked the portion of the manga they're adapting here. But the anime was a significant improvement on the source material in the first season...
Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy-
Isekai comedy. Not a parody—Normal isekai things happen, they're just funnier than usual. Fans describe it as like Tensura with an edgier protagonist, though
My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!
This is pretty much going to be pure antics, barring the possibility of an anime-original storyline
Night Head 2041
So there was a live action series in '92 called Night Head about a pair of psychic brothers that was apparently pretty popular. This is... vaguely related to that. Has the original writer and something like the same premise
Peach Boy Riverside
Originally a webcomic by Cool Kyoushinsha, then officially serialized by Yohane. ...Reminds me much more of Yohane's writing style. So, decent fantasy series. Good crazy faces
RE-MAIN
Brain child of the Tiger & Bunny guy. Looks like a pretty typical cute guys doing sports series otherwise
Scarlet Nexus
Game's not out yet and I can't find anything about the writer(s), so who knows
Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles
Sorta tries to be (what TVT calls) a deconstruction of isekai, but ends up mostly just being around 20% grittier than usual. Like, the protagonist reincarnating into the slums doesn't prevent him from going to a magic school for rich kids, it just means he gets bullied when he's there
Shiroi Suna no Aquatrope
Looks like a pretty traditional P. A. Works light drama, just with with less emphasis on the dudes. Might go yuri?
Sonny Boy
Brain child of Shingo Natsume, famed director of such popular anime as One Punch Man, Space Dandy, ACCA... Though he's also writing this one, and I have no idea what to expect from that
Tsuki Pro the Animation
New staff! The director previously did number24, last year's mediocre rugby anime, and some slightly less mediocre mid-00s moe series. The writer's previous credit is... Manaria Friends? Not sure if that's a reason to be hopeful or not, given the difference in genre

Always got more stuff coming up
Hope you like isekai
