Wow, you just barely slid in before we closed.

As for your character...could you give an example of what kind of stuff he can do with his powers? Because "make anything, like at all" sounds like it could break the story a bit. (For example, there's currently a plot thing going on with another character where an interdimensional portal machine she has is broken because a piece was destroyed, and Kieran, as described, could just end all of that by making a new one for her.) Is there some sort of limitation on that kind of thing, or some personality-based reason he won't just fix everything?

I edited his power a bit to include his lack of complex constructs. He won't create anything like that with the fear that he opens too much power. Is that okay?

It's still a bit iffy? One of the other players brought up the issue that someone poverty-stricken could ask him for some gold to go pawn off to get loads of money, for example.

Hmmm... I'll remake the character, don't worry. I'm not committed to him yet.

I know I’m submitting this under the wire here, but hopefully this is still in time.

• Name: Vivian Radu
• Age: 16
• Appearance: Seen here◊. Is 6’0”.
• Personality: Vivian is extroverted and really likes meeting new people. She takes most things in stride and likes to crack a joke every now and then. Generally more on the levelheaded side and not one for getting into drama.
• Power/Oddity: Vivian is a vampire, with a variety of powers that come with the territory.
  • Super Strength and Speed.
  • Super Senses: Vivian can hear more acutely and at frequencies normal people can’t. She also has a very keen sense of smell, and she can see without issue even in pitch black darkness.
  • Bat Form: In addition to being able to turn into a bat, she can also form bat wings on her back that allow her to fly while she’s in human form as well.
  • Fangs: As you’d expect, she has large, powerful fangs.
  • Resilience: Vivi is immortal, and can survive and eventually heal from quite a lot - she can’t drown because she doesn’t need to breathe to begin with and a hail of (ordinary) bullets won’t get the job done either. That said, she does have a variety of weaknesses, some of which
  • Weaknesses:
    • She doesn’t need to eat human food anymore, but she needs to drink blood on a regular basis or else she’ll eventually go into a maddened state where she’ll do basically anything to get it. Both human and animal blood will suffice.
    • Vivian is weak to anything that can be considered ‘holy’. This applies both to any sort of holy magic that may exist, but also any sort of mundane holy object, like a cross or bible. Simply making physical contact with such objects will burn her skin, so she is extremely twitchy around any kind of religious paraphernalia.
    • Garlic is another one. It’s not as severe as the former entry, but it has a very noxious, disorienting smell that will repel her from wherever it is present.
    • Silver: Silver bullets or other silver weaponry create wounds that heal more slowly and thus can more easily kill her. She also has an allergic reaction to it. Notably, this is where the idea that vampires don’t have reflections comes from, because mirrors used to have silver backing in them. Modern mirrors and cameras don’t use silver, so this is not really applicable anymore.
    • Doesn’t cast a shadow, and can thus be readily identified as a vampire if you know what you’re looking for.
    • It’s a stretch to call it these ‘weaknesses’ exactly, but fire, cutting off her head, or stabbing her through the heart with a wooden stake can kill her just as simply as these things would kill anyone else.
    • Sunlight is notably not one of her weaknesses, because her parents are both daywalkers.
• Backstory: A vampire couple lived happily together in Romania - at least they did, until an errant monster hunter discovered their true nature and attacked them. Though they survived, the two of them were no longer safe in their old home after this. Thus, the two of them set off for America with their daughter, and they attempted to raise her as normally as they possibly could. Vivian was a pretty outgoing girl who didn’t have a lot of trouble making friends and did well in school, but it was apparent that while they could hide her vampirism from a lot of people for a while, it probably wasn’t feasible for them to hide it from everyone forever. Thus, in their quest to find a place where their daughter wouldn’t have to hide what she was anymore, they found themselves at Oddity High.
• "Why did you decide to join the school?": “Mostly because people freak the hell out when they find out you’re a bloodsucker, and I heard people were a bit more chill about that sort of thing here. It'd be nice to not have to dance around that."

I remade my character! Is he okay now?

Name: Elring Denros

Age: 14

Appearance: Elring is a blond boy with orange eyes. His hair is normally somewhat scraggly, and he usually wears a green jacket, a white undershirt, and a necklace of amber.

Personality: Elring's a mellow guy, always taking everything in stride and going with the flow. Though nice, he can also be sarcastic and lazy. His power and his testing has made him used to pain and suffering, so he would go, "Oh no! Anyway." at fatal wounds.

Power/Oddity: Elring can't die. Whenever he would take wounds, they would near-instantaneously heal, even supposedly fatal ones. So far, he has massive pain resistance from testing his powers, and has increased strength and speed. Whenever he needs a weapon, he can easily break parts of himself to use, from bones to clobbering people with his arm, to Zoom Punching by dislocating his bones to stretch, move his vital parts (or any part of his body) around by sheer will. His removed body parts can be controlled independently from the main body, even eyes.

Backstory: Elring's parents thought the worst when their son fell from that tree, snapping his neck. When he got back up, they were terrified of him. When they got over that, and realized what he could do, they became lax in caring for him. Mama, I cut off my hand! he would cry, and his parents would go, That's nice, sweetie. as it healed. Feeling rather neglected, Elring found the school and decided to go there to learn more about what he could be. His parents let him, mostly because they weren't worried about him hurting himself.

"Why did you decide to join the school?": Other people with superpowers would probably flock there. I could find my people. Heck yeah.

Hilarity: Bit generic, but other than that, seems great! Vivian is accepted.

Jules: Two things: - A lot of the other players were grossed out by the blood-spraying. Might want to rethink that? Not too big of an issue though. - By "extend his range by detaching his hand", you mean that he can move body parts that have been cut off, right? The wording's a bit vague.

I changed it to show that he basically breaks himself to attack, and he can control parts of his body that are detached to him as if they were still connected to him. No blood spraying, his body closes the wound. Is it okay, or do I change the power set?

Name: repra Age: 17 Appearance: They are dressed in a sophisticated and elegant outfit, comprising a suit and trenchcoat that feature a harmonious blend of white, blue, and gold. One cannot help but notice their distinct and remarkable traits: a head full of immaculate white hair and a pair of arresting eyes. These eyes draw attention with their captivating colours - a mesmerizing shade of purple on one side and a bright, vibrant yellow on the other. Personality: chaotic, sleep deprived, regretful, he has have never really interacted with anyone else as they were homeschooled all their life, he often says rude things without recognisng it is rude. he is very determined to succeed, but always puts stuff off until the last minute. Power/Oddity: they can summon dark magic moths with special abilities, for instance if the moth bites someone he can read that persons future, or if the moths touch something he can tell where they have been, or if the moths phase through something he can read a random thought of theirs. Backstory (optional): he is an orphan, mostly wandering around the world, taking on part time jobs to make ends meet and spending time in library to learn. "Why did you decide to join the school?": "Because it was the only school I considered a safe place to stay".

Okay, a few points:

- Your listing of the moth's powers was just several examples of things the moths can do. I need an exhaustive list.

- Seeing people's futures doesn't really work all that well in an RP context, where futures aren't set in stone.

- You said he was homeschooled, but then you said he was an orphan?

Also, it might be an idea to spruce up the formatting. If put * at the start of a new line without any spaces around it, it'll become a bullet point

• Name: Setsuko Shirogane (白銀 節子)
• Age: 16
• Appearance: A picture of what she will look like◊ during her first appearance, though of course she does have other clothes for different kinds of weather. As an albino, has particular problems like needing to wear heavy sunscreen whenever she goes out during the day and keep to shade whenever possible, having poor eyesight, as well as extreme sensitivity of her eyes to light (and thus preferring dim lighting). Seen here wearing specialty contact lenses, but more often seen wearing prescription wrap-around sunglasses.

• Personality: Frank and headstrong but kind and empathetic. As the straight man to her (now at different schools) friends' over-the-top exuberance, often seen peering over her sunglasses as if to say "Really, you guys?", but nonetheless a hopeless optimist and pie-in-the-sky idealist with big dreams: she wants to be a world-famous musical talent, although all she has in that regard currently is a few hundred subscribers to her YouTube channel, few from outside Little Haven. Her actual taste in music is rather eclectic, but by far her favorite genre is rock. Her public persona is an unflappable coolkid of few words, and in truth she is rather introverted, but if you get her on to one of her favorite subjects, she can talk for a long time. Besides which, her incredible poker face (born from a combo of her dad's love of card games and a defensive adaptation to avoid showing weakness to bullies) neatly conceals her much more flighty and bombastic inner life. In short: cold, deadpan ham and cheese exterior, blazing hot, passionate ham and cheese interior. In spite of what you might think, she is actually quite book-smart (Subject strength: English>Math>Science>History), and has good mastery of both English and Japanese, though she sometimes can't remember a word or lapses into Japanglish. Proud of her heritage, and really likes anime, manga, Japanese novels, and toku, but stayed far away from the Anime Club at her old school (because dude, they're so cringe). Fiercely loyal to her friends and loved ones, and would do anything for her family's sake.

• Power/Oddity: Setsuko is able to create any sound she can imagine originating at any point within fifty feet of herself via intent and a mild amount of focus, from a soft whisper to the equivalent of an exploding concussion grenade. Relatedly, her years of musical practice have nurtured a natural talent for playing by ear and perfect pitch, which lends her great accuracy in recognizing and recreating sounds. With intent and great focus, she can also limit sounds from entering or leaving an area of up to fifty feet from herself, and can muffle or entirely silence any and all sounds she wishes within that same radius. However, she does not have full control of these powers yet, and she may accidentally project her inner monologue, sounds or songs she is imagining or actually hearing in the form of actual soundwaves, or unintentionally literally tune someone out.
  
  Her hearing is also sharpened to superhuman levels, enabling her to tune into any conversation or other sound she wishes within an area the size of an average high school campus by focusing on particular words, a specific location within her range, types of sound, or speakers (if she knows the sound of at least one party's voice). With sufficient practice, she may be able to listen to others' heartbeats to determine whether they are lying, unless they are good enough at controlling themselves to fool a polygraph, or have non-human or no heart rhythms. When she is not focusing on it, all the sound she is taking in manifests as a white noise in her consciousness, which can be extremely distracting. Furthermore, her enhanced hearing enables her to "see" a real time 3-dimensional mental image of any part of the same campus-size range within which there is sound, due to bat-like echolocation. However, like many characters with super-hearing, she is especially pained by loud noises, which can also disrupt her echolocation abilities.

• Backstory (optional): Setsuko grew up in California and moved to Little Haven three years ago so that her Japanese immigrant parents could escape California's insane housing prices and open their own business, a little while after the start of her Freshman year of high school. The mysterious albino transfer student quickly built a reputation in the public school's student body as a smart, cool, unflappable beauty with a prodigious musical talent. One particularly memorable moment for many was the time she humiliated the captain of the cheerleading squad in a crowded hallway with just a few choice words. After mysteriously manifesting her powers, however, her lack of control over them began to cause her lots of problems, to the point that her parents decided to pull her out of public school about a year ago and hire private tutors. Not only was that expensive, but it caused Setsuko to miss a lot of the social interaction that would normally come alongside the learning. So, when they saw an ad for Oddity High, a school promising not only to provide instruction alongside other students who were... unique, but teach them how to harness their particular abilities as well, the choice was easy!
