PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheySomething interesting I noted is that the Flag Smashers are specifically motivated to create a world without borders "like it was during the Blip." That has some interesting implications. During Endgame Black Widow was the only actual authority figure we saw, coordinating Wakanda and the space allies together with no mention of any trouble with other governments. So I wonder if that was a thing. "Yeah, when Black Widow was in charge the entire world was basically working together, and then she fridged herself and a bunch of asshole authority figures got resurrected, so we're back to where we were before."
Writing a post-post apocalypse LitRPG on RR. Also fanfic stuff.I think it was less that there were no boarders during the blip and more that it was a period in time where a fundamental shift in how society was organized felt more likely.
It didn't quite work out that way, mostly because the return likely helped stabilize stuff after a brief window of chaos. The Flag Smashers now see the window closing, so they are taking drastic action.

Also I feel like realistically there should have been huge huge issues with bringing people back after 5 years.
Since a small percentage (10%<) will have no support networks at all or had everyone in their family Snapped. Plus with the massive disruption in supply chains they would have almost certainly scaled food and other essential productions down, causing big issues when 4 billion people suddenly returned.
But I get that they don't want to get into that too much and gloss it over into smaller consequences like we see with the bank being more wary with loans.
The logistics of the return aftermath would make for an interesting story, gotta say. Stark and Steve are (functionally dead) and the governments despair over how to integrate all the people who came back into society.
I can imagine a World Security Council-esque bit where the U.N assembles a task force of experts for how to handle the situation, likely including a variety of genii in their respective fields to come up with logistical solutions to the situation at hand.
- Dr. Banner (a.k.a "Professor Hulk").
- Dr. Pym (a.k.a "Ant-Man I").
- Dr. Van Dyne (a.k.a "Wasp I").
- Dr. Helen Cho.
- Dr. Erik Selvig.
- Shuri.
- e.t.c e.t.c
You could honestly have this lead to the birth of the MCU's counterpart to The Illuminati. The logistics of half of existance coming back from the grave in the blink of an eye is the kind of thing you'd need a crack-ops team of the most intelligent people on earth.
Hell even S.W.O.R.D's liasons with the Skrulls and other outwordly forces would come in handy.

"All you Fascists bound to lose."It didn't get much focus but one touch I liked was in Wandavision when we see all the snapped people reappearing. One of the doctors/nurses is looking at all the patients coming back and shouting about how they don't have the capacity for this. It is a valid question and to be honest I feel like it should take more than eight months for it to be mostly solved. Probably the biggest issue with Far From Home.
Hmm.
It never dawned on the Avengers to maybe....tell other people about this? Like, get the rest of the world ready in some way?
Cause they probably should have.

One Strip! One Strip!I get that it was for the sake of Endgame having a compact cast, but it struck me as odd that the decision for when to do the Reverse Snap came down to just the agreement of eight Avengers and there didn’t seem to be any attempt to warn the world’s (or rather, the universe’s) governments with “hey, we’re gonna bring all the Snapped people back on Monday, you might want to close all the streets and prepare the hospitals for all the people that are about to burst back into existence.”

It's easier to ask forgiveness slash push all the blame onto Tony Stark than ask permission.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersWell, there's no way they could do a public announcement, because what if it doesn't work? The world is already horrifically depressed, a burst of failed hope like would be like another freaking apocalypse. But I would assume that they would call up any heads of state (such as Okoye) and mention "heads up, we're trying to bring everyone back." I'm just not sure how much help that would actually be.
Writing a post-post apocalypse LitRPG on RR. Also fanfic stuff. This is true.
One Strip! One Strip! If you tell the world about it and fail, people will be disappointed.
If you don't tell the world about it and succeed, nobody will be prepared for it and you'll be inflicting mass chaos upon the world roughly equal to what happened when the Snap happened in the first place.
It's better to give people a voice in things that will affect their lives, even when those things don't pan out, then to just decide unilaterally what is best for everyone because you're smarter and better than them. See also: democracy versus autocracy.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.To be fair, it was never really clear to anyone that they would succeed at all, or if they did, when it would happen. The most accurate possible thing they could honestly have said is that there was a chance of people possibly coming back at some point... Which while true, would be so vague as to have no practical value.
"These 'no-nonsense' solutions of yours just don't hold water in a complex world of jet-powered apes and time travel."

Sam (while looking off into the distance): Captain America.
