What's the Laconic version of your story?

I have three ideas, all WIPs

• Idea 1: A Space Opera esque story following the lives of 16 girls. All Idols, adventuers and players of an advanced version of Chess
• Idea 2: A hacker and a detective investigate child kidnappings in a cyberpunk city. A little minotaur girl and Cretan motifs are also invovled.
• Idea 3: Called "Ichor", I'm angling for it to be an anthology of sorts with a "power corrupts" themed influence by concepts in Puella Magi Madoka Magica, The Executioner and Her Way of Life and Zekkyou Gakkyuu. The former and latter means that there is a horror lean.

The Lion's Blood (WIP title) — USSR annexed Finland in WWII. In the late 80s revolutions sweep the eastern block, and a middle-aged finnish woman and her WWII veteran older brother are caught in a dangerous situation.

I have a few ideas that I've been thinking about for a while. I haven't actually done anything with them yet, but here are some summaries.

- Local man down on his luck wakes up in the Void Between the Worlds, and considers it an improvement.

- Humans in a fantasy setting learn the hard way that magic and monsters never actually went away when they started industrializing.

- Mixed martial arts tournament is sent into chaos when one contestant reveals their knowledge of Supernatural Martial Arts.

Colony/generation ship full of dissidents and malcontents dispatched from nearish-future Earth to Gliese 581-D at 0.1c. No crew; all systems are automated and can't possibly fail. It's going about as well as you'd expect.

Doves In Hell (WIP title) — In a dieselpunky WWI, the war is taken to the next level with the unearthing of occult forces beyond control and comprehension, and a german soldier makes an ill-fated deal in attempt to stop the world from destroying itself.

A Sorcerous Overlord tries to conquer a nation, then gets frustrated when they welcome him with open arms (because that's not how these things are supposed to go).
