For a non-spoiler, maybe the Sammer Guys?

The joke being you have to fight 100 of these in a row. That's not truly indicative of the trope (as they're more like glamorized regular fights than bosses) but the image captures the spirit of the trope.
That's closer to Boss Rush if anything. Plus it might as well be a page quote.
How about clanky woods from Kirby: Planet Robobot?

◊ and no this isn't a spoiler because it's the first boss.
is that better?

Please correct the links. Those do not open for me.

And that's another final boss so it's a spoiler. Which is the biggest problem, as most of the examples are final bosses.
How about Legion/Granfaloon from the Castlevania series? It's not a spoiler, and in every appearance it's an orb of bodies you have to chip away at to then fight the core at the center.
Only trouble is finding good images for it. The wiki isn't helping, guess we'll have to screencap a let's play or something.

This can help get started but I don't like how the boss is always in the corner of the screen.

Is being a final boss inherently a terribad, unpicturable spoiler?
For example, I don't know DK, but the game's description does say the goal is to beat King K. Rool. (Not a vote for the suggestion.) The same way I reasoned How the Mighty Have Fallen's image is not a deal-breaker spoiler because we know from day 1 that he has to beat the guy.

An unapproved Image upload that looks like something I drew when I was 13.
New image suggestions are welcomed.
