Finally I can naruto run in the pokemon world without prejudice
I can't say I'm not interested—It's a rare high-ish budget spinoff, and is actually looking to really get into the lore. On the other hand, I really hope there's more to the gameplay than just chucking pokeballs when your target isn't looking
What exactly is this game?
Extremely excited for this. Finally we get the first open-world main Pokemon game, graphics look solid, and with the starters shown to be from different generations it may imply that we finally get to explore more than one region. Pokemon: Breath of the Wild.
Looks interesting. Sort of a Poké-Breath of the Wild in ancient Sinnoh? Cool concept.
Though the fact that the protagonists are literally just Ninja Lucas and Ninja Dawn feels a bit silly to me.
And are the starters going to be Rowlett, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott? That's certainly a... unique choice.
Oh, I'm not complaining, I chose all three of those guys in their original outings (well, SoulSilver for Cyndaquil), so I'm reasonably amused by it.

Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonSeems to be a car crash collision between Breath of the Wild, Pokémon Conquest, and the main series games.
I mean this in the best way possible.
Probably my favorite part about this whole thing is that Arceus is finally returning to his rightful place as the creator of all Pokémon, after so many years of just being shoved aside. Mega Rayquaza ain't got nothing on Arcy.

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."The games always did Arceus extremely dirty despite it being the God of Pokemon. Maybe we'll finally see the Azure Flute outside of a hack.
Game looks interesting, but they’ll have to sell me on the open world. Like would I be able to ride a Doduo across those grassy fields? Do you need to gather materials for crafting the ancient Pokeballs? Can you gather berries and use them as bait to distract wild mons?
Still, it’s a great concept. Hope they can polish it up. A lot more.
It's not a spin-off. It's a mainline game. It's just different from the other mainline series games.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Hmm, I lean towards mainline game as well, or at least a proof of concept game for later entries.
Where there's life, there's hope.Doubt this will be a mainline. It even comes with a snappy title like "Pokémon Legends" that they can use as the name for a new spinoff series.
"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."game Freak themselves are developing this, while they outsourced the remakes. Pretty sure this will be the main attraction.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.So which starter are you all going for? I'm debating between Cyndaquil and Oshawott myself.
Yo, this is fucking hype.
I'm personally torn. Like I said earlier, I happened to choose ALL THREE for my initial journeys through their regions. It's like choosing a favorite child.

Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonI’m going Team Rowlet since that fits the whole stealth thing this game seems to be going for.
It's been 3000 years…The starters is the one thing I'm torn over. Traditionally, I pick the Water starter, but Oshawott is hideous enough that I might change it just this once. Cyndaquil is probably my best bet.
"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."Nintendo actually hired that man
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I like the idea of it having survival game elements, such as having to craft your own pokeballs and stuff, and as you find later game areas you learn how to make things like the equivalent of a Great Ball and an Ultra Ball and stuff. Though no idea if that will be a thing or not.
Qui odoratus est qui fecit. How dare you do Oshawott dirty like that. But dang, it is hard to pick a starter. They’re all in the upper tier. Might have to pick Cyndaquil just because I feel it needs a bit more love.
I doubt that will be a thing, honestly. I just hope the open world is more than dressing.

Extremely pumped for this. Graphics look a little jank (maybe it's the more realistic colouring that shows the flaws of the SWSH engine more prominently) but the actual fighting animations look *much* better than in the traditional games and open world Pokemon is just gonna be fun. Even if it's a mess, it's a swell proof of concept game and honestly the king of breath of fresh air the series oh so desperately needs.
I'm having to learn to pay the priceHowever else the game turns out, I'm very stoked that my boy Cyndaquil's getting some love.
My Megaman and MegaTen liveblogsI'll probably go with Oshawott as my starter, though it is subject to change.
I'm really digging the aesthetics of ancient Sinnoh.
Do you think since this takes place in sinnoh in the past. They'll allow us to catch the sinnoh starter trio in the wild as well?
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."
The D/P remakes have their own threa,d may as well make one for the other big announcement:
Some of the pokemon animations are rough, but its very early, and it seems like it will have a better development time, being released in 2022 instead of being christmas rushed in 2021.
