We get so many trolls, vandals, ban evaders, and people creating issues when they have accounts. Allowing anonymous people to edit this place is begging for a disaster.

I'm seriously tempted to get out the banhammer just for suggesting that. Allowing anon editing is a fucking terrible idea.

Hi all,
Now that it's been 10+ years since The Google Incident, I feel it is time that TV Tropes allowed anonymous editing once again, if only to test the practicality of it.
What do you all think of the suggestion?
