Yeah, a screenshot contrasting him with other characters would be preferable, pending other ideas.
Homer looking confused at his getup? Although I'd admittedly prefer a non-disco example to avoid Deader Than Disco esque misuse (thinking this is about disco specifically).
Lampshade?
I prefer 3.2 for the lampshade. Plus we get to see his get-up so it's not just page quote territory.
3.2.

3.2 FTW...I'm having flashbacks to watching Miami Vice.
x4 Now I'm wondering if we can make a caption out of "Disco Don".

Caption ideas:
1. The 80's called, they want their leisure suit back.
2. Looking nice in Miami Vice
3. You can call him dated, but nostalgia is always in fashion
4. They say don't mess with a classic, but...

Not sure if I get the joke in caption 4...
Gonna kick the caption options to the repair thread for a crowner; locking this one.
The article shows a character who likes disco, but fails to contrast him with other characters to make it clear his aesthetic is not the norm for the time period. The image is also really similar (but not identical) to Disco Stu's character image on The Simpsons - Other Recurring Characters.
From what I know of the character, he can still be an example, but he needs to be visually contrasted with the charcters who wear more modern clothes.
